After a great and valuable time with GrainCorp, I’m excited to share that I’ve joined iStaff as Business Unit Manager. Leaving GrainCorp is bittersweet. I’ve learnt an enormous amount during my time there and had the privilege of working alongside some incredibly talented people. A very special thank you to everyone I’ve worked with across GrainCorp, and particularly to the Auscol team. Auscol is a business that has faced plenty of noise, change and challenges, but the resilience, commitment and determination of that team has always stood out to me. I’m incredibly proud of what we achieved together, and even more grateful for the people I got to share the journey with. We made some amazing memories along the way, and I know I’ll genuinely miss a lot of people. At the same time, I’m incredibly excited about what’s ahead. I’ve now finished my first week at iStaff, and I have to say I’m incredibly impressed by the professionalism, commitment and energy displayed by the Account Management, Recruitment and Operations teams. It’s been a fantastic introduction to the business and a great reminder of how important the right people and culture are to building something special. iStaff is an exciting business with great people, a clear vision and an ambitious leadership team. I’m particularly looking forward to working alongside Maja Ristevski, Will Purdon, Anthony Lindbergh and Lauren Veller as we continue to build on the strong foundations already in place. There’s a lot of opportunity ahead, and I’m looking forward to bringing everything I’ve learnt throughout my career into this next challenge — while learning plenty more along the way. iStaff is officially expanding its footprint across Central Queensland. Last Thursday, we had the opportunity to host our iStaff Connector Event in Gladstone, bringing together local businesses and industry leaders for an evening of networking, great conversations and collaboration. The event provided an opportunity to better understand the challenges businesses are facing across recruitment, training, workforce management and operational efficiencies and, importantly, how we can work alongside our clients to help solve them. It was a fantastic night with plenty of valuable discussions, new connections and opportunities identified. A big thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the evening. We look forward to continuing to build strong relationships and deliver real value to businesses across Central Queensland as we continue to expand our footprint throughout Queensland. It’s been months since I joined iStaff Pty Ltd, and I’ve already learned so much in such a short amount of time. Today marks another exciting milestone as we move into a much bigger office to support the company’s rapid growth. With plans to double our headcount this 2026, It’s really exciting to see this all come together. I’m also incredibly grateful to have been recognised as the Q2 Most Improved Team Member. As someone who has only been with the company for a few months.This recognition is a reminder that consistent effort, being open to feedback, and embracing new challenges truly make a difference.   I’ll be supporting recruitment across Heavy Manufacturing Industry (Waste Management, Industrial Services, Defence, Engineering, and Civil Infrastructure). It’s a fast paced and highly specialized space that requires adaptability, strong attention to detail. Challenging, but always exciting. I’m grateful to be part of a team that is not only highly competent but also incredibly supportive, making it easy to grow and adapt every day.   I’m excited for what lies ahead and to see how the business continues to grow in the next coming months.
