If the Nordics want to win globally, the time to act as one ecosystem is now. 🇸🇪🇳🇴🇫🇮🇩🇰🇪🇺 The Norwegian Fintech Festival made one thing clear: building globally competitive companies starts with strong, connected ecosystems. Why is Stockholm such a strong ecosystem? And how can we bridge that to the rest of the Nordics? 🌟Success stories, a culture of paying it forward, and a global mindset from day one are what define the emerging Silicon Valhalla—a region ready to compete at the highest level. 🌟AI is accelerating this shift by removing traditional barriers. Here’s my take after NVIDIA GTC : For years, NVIDIA has tried to shift perception — from “chip company” to AI company. The five-layer cake might finally be the move that makes it stick. The “five-layer cake” isn’t just a way to explain AI 🍰 — it’s a strategic move by NVIDIA. As Jensen Huang makes clear, this is about shaping how the market thinks. Frame AI as a full stack (energy → chips → infrastructure → models → applications), and the conversation shifts: From “Which model?” To “How do we build and operate AI at scale?” That shift plays directly to NVIDIA’s strengths — expanding them from chipmaker to platform. What stood out most this year: where this is heading next → physical AI. AI is not just copilots. We talk about physical AI, in: • factories • robotics • supply chains • energy systems This could be the biggest market ahead — where every layer matters even more (performance, reliability, energy, integration). Regionally, the Nordics are well positioned: strong industry, clean energy, digital maturity. As AI becomes industrial, not just digital, this is a real opportunity. But competition is accelerating — across companies, platforms, and even regions (energy + compute). This is no longer just software. It’s infrastructure, capital, and long-term strategy. Nordic Official Reception at NVIDIA GTC Together with Nordic AI & Quantum Node and NVIDIA , we had the pleasure of hosting the official Nordic Reception during NVIDIA GTC. The evening opened with remarks from Erik Slottner , Sweden’s Minister for Public Administration, followed by an insightful keynote from David Hogan, NVIDIA’s Vice President of Enterprise in Europe, who spoke about Europe’s industrial AI transformation and the critical role of strong collaboration with the Nordics.
