Travel Arrangements

The travel club for hotel lovers. Find and book the world’s best boutique stays.

About us

Mr & Mrs Smith (a nod to the classic check-in nom de plume for illicit stays of old) began life in 2003 and has evolved into a global travel club with more than a million like-minded members. Our carefully curated (and responsibly sourced) collection now includes hotels in the sky (if you’ve never woken up in a treehouse, we can change that), hotels in caves, hotels above water, hotels underwater (well, partially), hotels a million miles away, hotels on your doorstep… It’s no accident that the collection is so special. Entry is by invitation only and every hotel is visited by our team and anonymously reviewed by a diverse bunch of trusted tastemakers, including Stella McCartney, Philip Treacy and Dita Von Teese, to name a few. Our work doesn’t stop with considered curation, mind. We ensure that our members receive the very best service, support and inspiration. It’s what makes us the travel club for hotel lovers. And if every club has a purpose, ours is to knock your socks off – with help from the world’s very best bedrooms…

📍 Editors' Picks: where will our travel insiders be exploring in June? Every month, our in-house experts share the hotels they're excited about, and for June they'll be ducking into the coolest European hotels to avoid the city swelter, taking gourmet tours of Somerset and the Isle of Wight, and flitting off to Vietnam with the family. Read on for your next escape... Sir Prague, Czechia  'Take a hop back in time at Sir Prague, which woos you with its nymph-clad 19th-century building, Cubist furnishings and folk arts. Its exterior has been used as a backdrop for Netflix’s upcoming The Age of Innocence series and it lends itself to genteel pursuits.'  Kate Weir, Deputy Editor The Hoxton, Dublin, Ireland  'You can be sure of good craic at The Hoxton, Dublin, just five minutes on foot from Temple Bar. Its façade is Victorian, but the site is even older — with Viking pits unearthed during the building works. The interiors, you’ll be pleased to hear, are a little newer.'  Caroline Lewis, Senior Editor Osip, Somerset, UK  'Michelin-starred Osip makes you feel at home with its fireside apéritifs, soft-hued bedrooms and marked deftness at ensuring you’re more-than-well-fed from the moment you arrive.'  Millie Field, Content Writer & Editor Maison Salix, Provence, France  'Maison Salix has my heart for its quiet, rural rhythm. Ensconced in the small village of Vallabrègues, this six-suite retreat dates back some 600 years and comes with quite a high-flying history.'  Ellie Nelson, Senior Content Writer & Editor The Terrace Rooms & Wine, Isle of Wight, UK  'Follow the sound of popping corks to new addition The Terrace Rooms & Wine on the Isle of Wight. First a bottle shop (with a thousand or so labels), The Terrace retains its grape focus with daily, expert-led tastings exclusively for guests.'  Kate Pettifer, Senior Content Editor The Anam Cam Ranh, Vietnam 'The Anam is a fly-and-flop resort where the spa uses ancient Asian healing traditions, sunrise and sunset yoga sessions take place on the sea-facing lawn, and steamy bowls of pho are just one authentic dish among many served at its menagerie of restaurants.'  Martin Dickie, UX & Production Editor

We recently asked Arc Inclusion to run a digital accessibility workshop for our creative, editorial, design and digital marketing teams, focused on strengthening how accessibility shows up in our work. The day combined core principles with practical application, covering everything from assistive technologies to interaction design to better serve all users. A key highlight was hearing lived experiences from accessibility champions Anj Cairns and Jonathan Abro, helping bring real-world challenges into sharp focus for our teams. As Arc's Head of Digital Inclusion, Dr. Thomas Hein shared: “[I] spent the day with the wonderful Mr & Mrs Smith team this week, focused on how to create accessible content. What stood out wasn’t the training. It was the team’s mindset. Genuinely customer experience led. They're clearly committed to creating inclusive content that helps their visitors accomplish what they came to do and get inspired by travel." Many thanks to our Head of Product Sevrin Morris for facilitating the workshop and to the Arc team for their collaboration — we look forward to continuing our accessibility journey together.

  • 🇨🇵 Discovering the Provençal good life with Mr & Mrs Smith This month, Carla Melmoth from our B2B Partnerships team welcomed some wonderful resellers (Elizabeth ReddMaxim BallGeraldine Perrier and Alex Kinder) to Provence. The group experienced a first-hand, sun-soaked introduction to some of Mr & Mrs Smith’s most distinctive stays in the region: - A night at the grand-dame maison Domaine de Fontenille, surrounded by vineyards and offering classic French countryside charm, plus visits to sister properties Les Bords de Mer and La Bastide du Mourre.  - An immersive visit to the art-packed estate Villa La Coste Hôtel & Spa - Palace, where contemporary creativity meets Provençal calm.  - And its refined sister stay, Auberge La Coste, set in the heart of Cézanne country. From long lunches and thoughtful hospitality to unhurried conversations and plenty of inspiration, the trip was a brilliant reminder of how powerful first-hand experiences are when it comes to selling exceptional hotels. A very special thank you to Peggy Picano-Nacci for Fontenille Collection, and Victoire Cliffe for Château la Coste, who was an excellent host. À bientôt, Provence...

Last week, we hosted the inaugural Smith Sessions — bringing together voices from across hospitality, culture, design, food, wellness and sustainability to explore where the future of travel is heading. The day opened with remarks from Natasha Shafi, CEO of Mr & Mrs Smith, who spoke about the enduring power of human connection in hospitality, the value of gathering with intent, and the importance of balancing innovation with judgement at a time of rapid technological change. A real highlight was a keynote from Katy Wickremesinghe, founder of The Wick, who explored the forces shaping travel through a cultural lens. She spoke powerfully about curiosity, attention and cultural intelligence — and why the most meaningful travel experiences are often the ones that happen when you’re not expecting them. Across the panels, a clear set of themes surfaced. As AI and data increasingly shape discovery and service, human connection repeatedly emerged as the true luxury. Intuitive, high‑touch service was viewed as something technology should quietly support, not replace. Provenance, authorship and authenticity matter more than ever. Culture ran through every conversation: hotels acting as cultural platforms rather than passive backdrops; food as one of the most powerful connectors to place; wellness moving beyond the spa into genuinely holistic ecosystems. Speakers returned again and again to the importance of community and in‑person exchange; the value of being in rooms together, sharing ideas and building creative connections. Smith Sessions brought together voices from across hospitality and culture to create space for thoughtful, forward‑looking conversation. As Natasha reflected in her closing remarks, the most compelling work in hospitality today is happening where ideas overlap — where creativity meets care, innovation is balanced with restraint, and progress is measured not by scale or speed, but by depth.  Thank you to our wonderful hosts and panellists, whose participation shaped our first Smith Sessions so beautifully: Future travel: Jennica Shamoon Arazi, Aimee H. and Silvio Vettorello, hosted by Natasha Shafi Sustainability: Simon Green, Amanda Ho and Matt Starkey, hosted by Liam Freeman Style and design: Christopher Cox, Alex Dauley and Ben Thompson, hosted by Ella Alexander Arts and culture: Dom Chung, Brandei Estes and Jack Lazenby, hosted by Katy Wickremesinghe  Culinary: Ixta Belfrage, Lotti Bruce and Justin Tsang, hosted by Mina Holland  Wellness: CJ Jones-Leake, Zoe Patoff and Sacha Hale, hosted by Hannah Coates    And finally, thank you to all of the guests who joined us — see you next year.    For further information, please contact the Smith team:  Helen Bailey, Global Head of PR  Cat Tsang, Editor-in-Chief  Amarpaul Kalirai, Senior Art Director  Hannah Brame, PR Manager   Holly Devine, Senior Marketing and Communications Executive

  • Last week, in honour of International Women’s Day, we hosted an intimate dinner at Jikoni London that brought together hoteliers, creatives, editors and business leaders whose work is shaping the next chapter of hospitality and culture. Hosted by our CEO, Natasha Shafi, it centred on what we value most at Mr & Mrs Smith: connection, collaboration and celebration. Natasha captured the spirit of the evening in her speech: “Progress is not self‑sustaining; it advances when people insist upon it, and it recedes when we assume it is settled.” That sentiment guided the conversations around the room: an energetic exchange of ideas, ambition and motivation. We left with renewed resolve to keep widening the circle; championing leadership that is generous and exacting in equal measure, and continuing to build a hospitality culture that is more thoughtful, more human and more beautifully designed. Here’s to the women leading the charge — and to the networks that help them progress even further.

🌎 Coming together with Kerzner Mr & Mrs Smith recently joined forces with Kerzner International to host a special evening that reminded us how fun this industry can be. At Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, hoteliers from One&Only Resorts welcomed members of our Hotel Partnerships, Smith24 Sales and Travel Industry Partnerships teams, along with some of our sharpest UK-based travel advisors, for a night of news, notes and great conversation. We heard what's next for One&Only’s portfolio, compared diaries, made new relationships and deepened old ones – the kind of connection-building celebration that keeps this business alive and interesting. A few lucky advisors even won the chance to experience a One&Only hotel first-hand. A special thank you to the advisors who joined us: Travel 6 Degrees, Emily Grace, Olivia Winter from GO BESPOKE, Case Travel Limited, Suite DNA and Leyla Huysal from Fora Travel. These events are a valuable reminder that the Smith network isn't just a contact list, it's a brilliant community. See you at the next one?

  • We’ve mastered the art of being horizontal — on massage tables, sun loungers and in some of the comfiest beds known to man. It’s a position perfectly suited to life’s finer moments, like idle contemplation, being handed a well-timed cocktail, or the lost art of doing absolutely nothing at all. So we’re starting a quiet revolution to make 2026 the year to broaden not just horizons, but horizontals, too.    Our new ‘Broaden Your Horizontals’ campaign gives fresh meaning to laid-back luxury, celebrating the joy of fully switching off. Shot by renowned US photographer Tina Barney, it blends her signature tableau style with real creatives from fashion, design and music: think clothes-strewn bedrooms, fireside pauses and lakeside moments that hover beautifully between fantasy and reality.    Keep an eye out for the campaign on Amazon Prime, on our social channels, billboards and flyposting across London. And if you’re ready to lie back, stretch out and let the world (and the room service) revolve around you, head to mrandmrssmith.com and discover stays that will knock you sideways. Before heading into the new year, our B2B partnerships team are looking back on two of their many best bits of 2025… 🌊 Embarking on an Aegean adventure Few trips captured the magic of 2025 quite like this one. In Autumn, Carla Melmoth gathered a special group of partner travel advisors — Madeleine Burwash, Maia Bremmerer, Olivia Winter and Stephanie Weinstein — for a Cycladic hop stitched together by some of Smith’s most irresistible stays: Kalesma Mykonos: spectacularly perched above Ornos Bay, with pitch-perfect interiors elevated by designer Faye Chatzi’s traditionally woven textiles. Empiria Group in Paros: Parīlio, Cosme and Acron Villas, explored between meanders through Parikia and Naoussa’s sun-soaked lanes, fishing boats and buzzy tavernas. The Rooster in Antiparos: a delicious lunch of goat ragu bucatini and tiramisu, followed by a visit to the House of Healing spa and a coastal pause at The Beach House. PAROCKS hotel & spa in Paros: a fitting finale that featured sundowners and a secret beach. Huge thanks to our hosts: Konstantinos and Theresa Feeney at Kalesma; Nikoleta, Apostolis and rep Victoire Cliffe at Empiria; Natalia at Parocks; and the Perowne International team for The Rooster and The Beach House.  🏖️ Seeing the best of the Balearics    In June, Millie Smith and Stephanie Highmoor from our B2B Partnerships team whisked four of our brilliant reseller partners — Emma Parvizi, Lauren Till, Victoria Grieveson and Amy Kettle — on a whirlwind four-day tour through Ibiza and Formentera. Ten standout Smith stays, one sun-drenched itinerary: - A welcome lunch on the terrace at the iconic Montesol Experimental - A dose of wellbeing at Six Senses Ibiza — the RoseBar clinic, a sunset ceremony, dinner under the olive trees, and a restorative overnight stay - A flavourful lunch at Ca Na Xica Ibiza, followed by check-in at the effortlessly OKU Hotels Ibiza - Golden-hour cocktails and dinner at Petunia Ibiza’s La Mirada rooftop, overlooking Es Vedrà island  - A breezy boat ride to Formentera for lunch at Teranka Formentera and a hands-on pottery workshop - Sunset cocktails on the rooftop of The Standard Hotels Ibiza, before a final night at Nobu Hospitality Ibiza Bay   With thanks to our hosts: Julia Jossa at Montesol Experimental; Alexa Ponchietti at Six Senses Ibiza; Belen Caballero Garrido at Ca Na Xica; Michael Vance at Oku Ibiza; Mireia Parrilla Almeida at Petunia Ibiza; Paulina Misarova at Teranka; Esther L. Sievewright and Ignacio Mirones García at Dunas de Formentera; Sara Mullor Vicedo and Patricia Durà Valverde at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay; and Niharika Khanna at The Standard, Ibiza.

It’s our global hit list of the most exciting places to check in next year, including stops in some unexpected places: watch the World Cup in Missouri, follow your nose to Mexico’s lesser-known wine region, migrate north with the birds to Newfoundland or get to know a new Emirate in the UAE. We’ve revisited the classics, too, with Paris, Athens, the Balearics and other icons still earning their stripes. So whether you’re boarding a plane, catching a train or turning the ignition, buckle up: 2026 is going to be busy.
