About us
MP Materials (NYSE: MP) is rebuilding the American rare earth supply chain. From our operations in California and Texas, we produce the materials and magnets that power technologies critical to modern life, economic competitiveness, and national security. At Mountain Pass, California, we operate one of the world's richest rare earth deposits and the second-largest rare earth mine globally. There, we mine, process, separate, and refine rare earth materials. In Texas, we manufacture high-performance rare earth magnets at our Independence facility, bringing a critical industrial capability back to the United States. We are expanding those capabilities through investments in additional refining capacity, recycling circuits, and larger-scale magnet manufacturing. Construction is underway on 10X, our second U.S. magnetics facility, which will further scale domestic production and help meet growing demand from industry. MP Materials serves leading customers across technology, automotive, and defense, including Apple, General Motors, and the U.S. Department of War. Our mission is straightforward: restore the full rare earth supply chain to the United States and strengthen the industrial foundation on which the next generation of American manufacturing will be built.

School is back in session, and #TeamMP wanted to help. Over the past few weeks, employees from Mountain Pass and Las Vegas collected and delivered backpacks, school supplies, and classroom resources to students and teachers at Baker Valley Unified School District, our closest neighbor. What we love about efforts like these is that they're driven by our people. Employees volunteered their time, donated supplies, packed backpacks, and showed up to support local students and teachers. Baker has been our neighbor for decades. From creating local jobs to supporting schools and community programs, we're committed to investing in the communities where we live and work. Thanks to everyone who pitched in, and wishing students and teachers everywhere a great year ahead.

We were honored to welcome EPA Region 6 Administrator Scott Mason and his team to Independence today. It's encouraging to see agencies across the federal government actively engaging with the industries critical to America's economic and national security. MP's goal has always been to lead in technology and manufacturing while setting the standard for efficiency, safety, and responsible production. We appreciated the opportunity to discuss the strategic importance of our industry, the progress being made at Independence, and the role domestic rare earth production can play in strengthening U.S. supply chains.
