Welcome to Workforce Wednesday! Every Wednesday we will be highlighting a different career opportunity with MDC. This week we are highlighting an Outdoor Education Center Manager, Kellie! Kellie has been with the Missouri Department of Conservation for almost 13 years! Kellie's favorite part about her job is the opportunity to interact with the public, especially through youth programs working with kids and families. It gives a sense of purpose beyond the day-to-day operations. Whether it is introducing someone to shooting sports for the first time or helping a young participant build confidence and skill over time, those moments stick with Kellie. Youth programs are the most rewarding to her! Something you may not know about Kellie is that she has her mind set on going to a store for one thing, and will leave with ten every time!
