Mission Rock Phase I has been recognized with a 2026 ULI Americas Award for Excellence, honoring one of San Francisco's most dynamic new waterfront neighborhoods. Developed through a joint venture between the San Francisco Giants, Tishman Speyer, and the Port of San Francisco, Mission Rock has transformed a former parking lot into a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood with homes, workplaces, retail, and public open space. More than 17 years in the making, the project was recognized for its excellence in design, planning, community engagement, and innovation. The award reflects the power of long-term partnership and a shared vision for creating a neighborhood that contributes to San Francisco's continued growth and vitality.
