We’re proud to share that KIND now sources 50% of its almonds from farms leveraging regenerative agriculture practices. This milestone puts KIND on track to meet its goal of sourcing 100% of its almonds from farms using regenerative practices on a mass-balance basis by 2030.🌱    This progress builds on the KIND Almond Acres Initiative, launched in 2023 as a three-year pilot in partnership with ofi North America (Olam Food Ingredients). Following the devastating dual earthquakes in northern Venezuela, the Mars Impact Fund is committing $1M to World Central Kitchen (WCK) to support immediate on-the-ground disaster relief. The funding will help provide more than 200,000 fresh meals to people affected by the disaster, accompanying additional on-the-ground efforts already underway by Mars and its brands. Alongside WCK’s incredible work with local restaurants, our Mars South American businesses are actively mobilizing resources: 🤝 Providing Relief: Donating over 5 tons of food, snacks, and pet food to support local food banks. 🐕 On-The-Ground Support: Backing canine search-and-rescue teams working on the front lines. ❤️ Supporting Our People: Offering direct assistance to Venezuelan Mars Associates based in Southern Brazil whose families have been affected. Agriculture is one of the most significant contributors to our value chain emissions. 🌱 Covering approximately 400,000 hectares and involving 70 partners globally, we’re advancing climate-smart agriculture by working collaboratively with farmers, researchers and partners.  Exactly how are we doing it? By supporting the farmers who make it all happen. One example is our Raising Rice Right platform.
