What an epic day! Big Dreams, Bright Futures brought youth together for a day filled with sports, creativity, laughter and unforgettable moments. A heartfelt thank-you to Unite Ministries for helping make this special event possible and to Bethany Church for graciously hosting us. We are also grateful to the athletes and representatives from LSU, Grambling State University, Millsaps College and the Baton Rouge Rougarou who showed up to encourage, inspire and spend meaningful time with our youth. A special thank-you to our cooks, Patsy and Leon “No Doubt” Self, for preparing a wonderful meal and helping make the day even more memorable. Thank you to every volunteer, partner, caregiver and staff member who helped bring the event to life. Whether you picked up a ball, a crayon or a Jenga block to make a child smile, you helped create memories that will last far beyond the day.
