& Into the Future An essential element of Lautman Maska Neill & Company? We celebrate the “&.” Each mission of every nonprofit we serve becomes an opportunity to learn more. Every talented staff member brought onto our team brings us new skills and experience. Each innovative vendor partner with whom we work yields new ways to raise money. We are continually learning from our industry. Every organization…team member…and vendor partner makes our “&” stronger. So when we approached the daunting task of ensuring the company perseveres long into the future — we leaned into the “&.” And today we’re excited to announce an important milestone in the storied history of Lautman. Lautman Maska Neill & Company has officially joined Carey & Co, alongside Schultz & Williams, creating a uniquely comprehensive group of companies dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations strengthen fundraising, deepen donor engagement, and build long-term sustainability. Together, we will be even stronger, combining decades of leadership in direct response fundraising, donor acquisition, strategic fundraising consulting, campaign planning, planned giving, financial management, and nonprofit operations. We will be able to support donor engagement at every level — from a $10 annual contribution to a transformational $100 million campaign gift. Few organizations can offer that breadth of expertise while still delivering the thoughtful, customized, and insightful guidance that has defined each of our firms for decades. Leaning into the “&” enables us to take the next step in a thoughtful, long-term, strategic vision. As we developed our strategic plan in 2024, we knew that Lisa Maska hoped to retire at the end of 2026. It was critically important that this transition strengthen — not interrupt — our ability to help nonprofit organizations acquire, cultivate, and retain lifelong donors. We explored many possible paths forward. Some would have required us to align around a single technology platform, fundraising methodology, or prescribed set of services. Others risked moving us away from the entrepreneurial, mission-centered approach that has always defined Lautman. By joining forces with Carey & Co and Schultz & Williams, and maintaining the leadership of Tiffany Neill at Lautman past Lisa’s retirement, we can lean into what makes Lautman special while expanding our capabilities in ways that directly benefit our clients. About the other “&”s: Schultz & Williams brings nationally recognized expertise in campaign strategy, major and planned giving, institutional advancement, and strategic planning. Carey & Co adds deep operational and financial leadership for nonprofit organizations, including outsourced accounting, human resources, and executive advisory services. We look forward to having more conversations about this exciting new relationship with you.

  • The Lautman team attended Americares Airlift and Benefit in NYC last night. Congratulations to actor and director Tony Goldwyn, who was honored with this year's Humanitarian Spirit Award. The evening was a great success, raising critical support to help Americares deliver essential health care, medicines and medical supplies to people who need it the most here in the U.S. and around the world.
