Summer field season is here, and last week's wilderness first aid cohort includes some roles you might not expect: data scientists, software engineers, recruiters, and permitting specialists, ready for fieldwork alongside our geologists. At KoBold, everyone is an explorer. Thanks to CPR Seattle, LLC and Backcountry Medical Training for getting our summer crew prepared!

Last week, KoBolders made their way to Stanford for the 2026 Silicon Valley Minerals Forum. The two-day event is organized by Mineral-X, a Stanford industrial affiliate program focused on developing technological innovations for a resilient and sustainable critical mineral supply chain. We've been a founding member of Mineral-X since its inception. Several KoBolders presented our latest scientific work. Our biggest takeaway? There's no limit to innovation. See you at SVMF 2027!

Safe births, closer to home! Mingomba is proud to have supported Kakoso Level 1 Hospital with a new maternity annex, expanding delivery capacity and strengthening neonatal care for mothers and babies in Chililabombwe. By bringing maternal care closer to the communities, this investment will help reduce referrals and support safer outcomes for families.
