Summer mode on ✈️🎒 To celebrate the launch of our Bali Pro travel backpack, the Walnut Travel Collection, and Condor’s new city destinations, Kapten & Son and Condor Airlines teamed up for a campaign built around what we both love most: making travel feel effortless, inspiring, and a little bit more stylish. Here’s what we created together: · A photo & social shoot at Frankfurt Airport and even onboard a Condor aircraft (yes, that was as exciting as it sounds). · Two influencer trips to bring the experience to life through real life travel stories. · A joint in-store event at the Kapten & Son store in Frankfurt, complete with Condor flight attendants serving drinks from the trolley (iconic), and a mini challenge where guests could prove their skills (and estimation talent) by packing a carry-on backpack for a giveaway. A huge thank you to everyone involved, from the crews and creators to the teams behind the scenes who made the logistics look easy. (We know it wasn’t.) Here’s to a summer full of new routes, new luggage, and new Experiences! 🌍

Now Boarding: Kapten Airlines ✈️ Last Thursday, we welcomed selected editors and creators to an evening made for wanderlust on the terrace of House of Louie. From a baggage claim inspired welcome sign to boarding passes as place cards, the travel theme took off from the very first moment. In the perfect setting to spark new travel plans, we introduced our new Walnut Travel Collection and the Bali Pro, designed to go wherever you go. Photo Credit: Beatriz Granados / @beatricerigby

Supermarkets are closed on public holidays? Not this one. Last Friday, we celebrated the launch of our first-ever Shopping Basket with a party inside a REWE store in Cologne. Huge thanks to REWE René Irrgang for hosting and turning a regular grocery run into a real launch moment. And yes, there was a bowling lane between the salty snack shelves! What we set out to do: - Push the launch with an unexpected experience - Create maximum reach with creators and partners on site - Show the baskets live and in action, cleverly integrated so they feel like part of the experience, not pure advertising - Extend the launch beyond launch day with strong visuals, real moments, and lots of people seeing the basket in use The vibe: - Drinks “supermarket style”: open the fridge door, grab a bottle or can, crack it, enjoy - Food straight from the chilled aisle with EAT HAPPY Deutschland | EatHappy GmbH, plus snack shelves for anyone who wanted to dig in (Kinder Chocolate, chips, hitschies and more) - 3 DJs and a brass band bringing the store to life - Partners who helped make it happen: Kölsche Koks, Sechzisch Vierzisch GmbH, Anymal Spirits And honestly, we once again lived up to our motto: Be The Experience.

London moves fast. And every day, millions of people hop on public transport to get to work. For many of them, a backpack is part of the journey. That is exactly why Kapten & Son backpacks are made for modern commuters. So instead of waiting for people to find us, we are showing up where they already are. For two weeks, Kapten & Son can be seen in trains and along stations on the Northern Line, reaching South West London commuters on their way to work. And because there is now mobile reception there too, we are adding Meta ads during rush hour to meet people in the moments they are already scrolling. To take it even further, the campaign is amplified through social media and influencers, creating touchpoints all along the commute. At the same time, the campaign is also designed to build awareness for our London store and bring even more people into the Kapten & Son world offline. One city, one commute, lots of opportunities to connect.

Black Week in March? Crazy! Exactly the point. With our new “Better Than Black Week”, we’re moving one of retail’s biggest moments to where no one expects it: spring. 30% off everything. No exceptions. In a world full of constant offers, we believe attention comes from breaking expectations, not following them. That’s why we teamed up with Friedrich Liechtenstein. An icon who thrives on breaking conventions. Together, we’ve created a campaign that’s as unexpected as the idea itself: bold, cinematic, and just a little bit crazy. With this campaign, we’re creating a new, strategic sales moment alongside our existing peaks and rethinking how sales can work today.
