Yesterday evening, I had the great pleasure of presenting our valued customer JUMiNGO and its CEO Sascha Goldstein with the DHL Express GoGreen Plus Certificate 2025. This milestone is particularly meaningful to me, as we have been working together successfully in a strong and trusted partnership for more than eight years. JUMiNGO was an early adopter of digital shipping solutions, including digital customs documentation and customer invoicing. Now, the company has also successfully integrated more sustainable shipping into its business model. I still remember our valued colleague Leendert van Delft hosting a GoGreen Plus workshop at our Sales Conference around three years ago, enabling our sales teams to confidently position this solution. It is fantastic to see how theory has now turned into real and measurable impact. But what does that impact actually look like? In 2025, JUMiNGO reduced more than 1,000 tonnes of CO₂e emissions through the DHL Express GoGreen Plus programme. 🌍 When we talk about sustainability in logistics, we often hear impressive numbers. But what do they really mean in practical terms? This reduction is equivalent to: 🌲 The annual CO₂ absorption of more than 87,000 trees — an entire forest covering approximately 120 football pitches. 🚗 Around 9 million kilometres driven by car — equivalent to travelling around the world 225 times. ⚡ The complete annual carbon footprint of approximately 220 households. By using Sustainable Aviation Fuel within the DHL network, emissions are reduced directly within the transport chain. This is insetting rather than offsetting — creating change where the emissions actually occur. A huge compliment to the entire JUMiNGO team for making such a strong contribution to more sustainable logistics.
