  • It's the third week of January 2026. If you made a firm resolution on Jan 1 to transform yourself in any area of life and are not seeing the results you desire despite your best efforts, read on. We often throw ourselves into tasks due to situational demands. We get busy putting out fires without taking the time to understand where to apply our mental, physical, and spiritual resources. The best efforts, however well-intentioned, will fail if they are misdirected. A famous saying goes,” If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” Time and energy are finite resources. By understanding the nature of your tasks, you can categorize them better and allocate your time and energy accordingly. Swami Mukundananda, in his book “Golden Rules for Living Your Best Life,” provides a handy sutra to do so. “Put the most important and urgent tasks up top, while things requiring least attention go to the bottom of the list.” Secondly, learn to manage time by managing your mind. Completing complex tasks on long-term projects requires focused hours of work each day, free from distractions. During this time, put away your smartphone and avoid social interactions. Practice meditation to build focus over longer periods. The Bhagavad Gita Krishna Bhakti App offers wonderful guided meditations by Swami Mukundananda to tap into the divine source of creativity and focus. Use timeboxing throughout the day to manage your workload. Divide your schedule into fixed blocks of time for specific tasks. For example: 3 hours for an urgent, complex task, 30 minutes for research on a project, 45 minutes for communication, and 30 minutes for reporting. This keeps you accountable for time and in control of your schedule. For more information, refer to Swami Mukundananda’s aforementioned book. Lastly, we overestimate what we can accomplish in a day and underestimate what we can achieve in a month. Break a larger project into smaller, manageable chunks with microdeadlines. Accomplishing a small amount each day helps you stay on track and avoid overwhelm as deadlines get closer. This approach is especially useful if you tend to procrastinate. Be clear in your priorities, minimize distractions, plan your day, and execute consistently. Consistency beats talent, shiny accolades, capability, luck, and good intentions. Remember - Nothing works unless you do. Even God helps those who help themselves. Do the work and rise in 2026. We often wonder: If God knows the future, do we really have free will? The idea shared here offers a powerful perspective — that while the macro events may be known, the micro choices are ours. Like a powerhouse supplying electricity, the energy is given. What we do with it — to build, to warm, to illuminate, or to misuse — is our responsibility. This reminder feels deeply relevant today. Growth, leadership, and purpose don’t come from knowing everything — they come from choosing consciously with what we’ve been given. How we use our free will, moment by moment, is what shapes our life and impact. #SwamiMukundananda #JKYog #FreeWill #SelfReflection #BhagavadGita #LeadershipWisdom #ConsciousLiving #PersonalGrowth #Mindfulness #SpiritualWisdom #LifeLessons #InnerGrowth

Bhakti Yog Sadhana Shivir Day 4 – Lala’s Abhishek: A Moment Everyone Waited For!!! After the Shreemad Bhagavatam lecture that brought Shree Krishna’s Janm leela alive before the devotees, what followed felt almost natural - Lala’s Abhishek. The arrangements were already in place, and soon the little form of Shree Krishna was lovingly prepared for Panchamrit Abhishek, performed with milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar. One by one, devotees came forward, offering Panchamrit with deep affection and care. As they bathed the small, innocent-looking Lala, there was an unspoken feeling of closeness, seeing Him as the tender child He is now, who in time will reveal His playful, charming mischief that steals every heart. Swamiji stood beside Lala throughout, guiding the devotees, placing the Panchamrit into the auspicious conch, and at moments, letting his joy show through his movements and nyochhavar for Lala during the Abhishek. Towards the end, Swamiji himself poured water over Lala and carefully wiped Him, each action filled with warmth and attentiveness. The Abhishek concluded, leaving everyone touched by what they had just witnessed. By then, it was clear to all - this shivir holds many more such moments and surprises ahead. If the very beginning has unfolded in this way, one can only imagine what lies in store next. As the shivir progresses, attention naturally turns forward, while the ongoing sadhana remains at the center, shaping the inner journey of every participant. #sadhana #spiritualretreat #JKYog #SwamiMukundananda #Bhakti #Devotion

✨ Sadhu Bhoj Seva: Shree Jagannath Puri Dham 🛕 🔹 Selfless Service at the Holy Kshetra:  Following the Puri Sadhana Shivir, the Jagadguru Kripalu Yog Trust (JKYog), in collaboration with Shree Purushottam Vatika, organized a soulful Sadhu Bhoj on the 9th of November 2025 to honour the sadhus and sanyasis residing in the holy Dham. 🔹 A Traditional Welcome:  Volunteers and Ashramvasis greeted the Sadhus at the entrance with deep reverence, performing Charan Prakshalan (washing their feet with rose water), applying Chandan on their forehead, and offering flower garlands amidst the sweet chanting of Hari Naam. 🔹 Vedic Reception:  As the Sadhus gathered in the hall, Swami Mukundananda Ji was welcomed with the powerful resonance of Vedic hymns chanted by students of the local Pathshala. 🔹 Mutual Reverence & Gratitude:  In a touching exchange, the Sadhus expressed their gratitude towards Swamiji’s mission, chanting the Hanuman Chalisa as a token of love and honouring him with shawls and garlands. 🔹 Mahaprasad Seva:  The Sadhus were served the Mahaprasad of Lord Jagannath on traditional Abadha Patras and banana leaves. The bhoj featured over 20 authentic items, reflecting the rich, thousands-of-years-old heritage of Odisha’s Jagannath Sanskriti. 🔹 Heartfelt Offerings:  Swamiji personally presented each Sadhu with a gift bag containing essentials, including a warm water flask for their travels, along with Dakshina (donations) to support their path of Bhakti Prachar. 🔹 A Vision for Welfare:  This soulful day reaffirmed JKYog’s commitment to societal welfare. We pray to Lord Jagannath for the continued strength to serve the community through such sacred programs. #sadhubhoj #puri #SwamiMukundananda #JKYog #JKYogIndia #communityofferings #Saints #india #spiritual
