What a great way to spend an afternoon. Thank you to the Interactive Case Competition team for inviting me to judge this year's Broadband Equity Challenge alongside Nomi Bergman and Simon Cassels. Congratulations to Pace University - Lubin School of Business' Pace & Pulse on the win, and to every team that competed. You made the judging hard, which is exactly how it should be. After 30+ years in this industry, nothing makes me more optimistic than seeing who's coming next. #BroadbandEquity #DigitalDivide #Connectivity #NextGenTalent

Yesterday, I wrapped up my participation in the Interactive Case Competition, where our team explored the challenge of broadband access and adoption in rural Arizona. We focused on how statewide connectivity numbers can mask significant gaps across rural communities and developed a strategy to address barriers beyond infrastructure alone — including affordability, awareness, and enrollment support. It was a great opportunity to work through a real-world business challenge, from research and problem definition to strategy development and presenting our recommendations. A special thank you to my teammate Cristie Dawicki-Gorham for all the work we put into this project together, and to Craig Leddy and the Interactive Case Competition team for the opportunity and guidance throughout the competition.
