Our Golf Course Maintenance team works tirelessly in the summer heat to keep our courses in outstanding condition. In addition to their daily responsibilities, many of our Team Members are playing a key role in our exciting $18.4 million South Golf Course renovation project. It was our utmost pleasure to recognize their dedication and hard work on Friday, August 7, 2026, with an appreciation BBQ organized by our Human Resources Team led by Director of People and Culture Emily Viviano Roeckle, PHR. Team members enjoyed hot-off-the-grill steaks, chicken, and pork sliders, fresh salads, and more plus a visit by the Good Humor ice cream truck. After brief remarks from Chief Operating Officer Larry S. Savvides, CCM, CCE, CAM, the real fun began with prize giveaways, including sizeable gift cards, a Yeti cooler, and a 55-inch television. We are thrilled to welcome Justin Vaughn, PGA, as Hunters Run's new Head Golf Professional. Justin joins us with more than seven years of experience in the Colorado PGA Section, most recently serving as Head Golf Professional at The Club at Flying Horse in Colorado Springs. His impressive professional accomplishments include helping lead an Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) Top 100 Golf Shop and earning Colorado PGA Merchandiser of the Year honors twice. A former SE Florida PCMA Chapter Board member, she has built her career around creating memorable experiences, modernizing communications, and strengthening member engagement. Cris brings a dynamic and progressive accounting career in City Government, non-profit organizations, construction, manufacturing, and private equity-backed companies. With a Master's degree in Accounting and Taxation, Cris brings her expertise, strong cross-functional experience, and leadership skills to Hunters Run. We recently introduced our first Omakase Dinner Experience, inviting members to place their trust in the creativity and craftsmanship of Executive Chef Robert Goodhue and his Team. Designed for just 10 guests, the evening featured a five-course menu, with each dish thoughtfully paired with a beverage to create a truly immersive culinary journey. An important note on the invite: "To preserve the integrity of the experience and ensure a cohesive journey for all guests, the menu is presented as designed and cannot be modified." Good news, the response was incredible, and the event sold out immediately following the announcement.
