We're reimagining airport dining at JFK T4 through our North Star vision, transforming the terminal’s commercial program into a true showcase of New York City’s diverse culinary landscape.   This week, we were honored to debut four new restaurants at T4, each bringing a distinct piece of our city’s food, culture, and hospitality to passengers. The ribbon cutting events celebrated:   FIELDTRIP – created by The James Beard Foundation-winning Chef JJ Johnson, and originally founded in Harlem. Bessou – founded by Chef Maiko Kyogoku as a NYC neighborhood staple, Bessou reimagines Japanese home cooking. Chopt Creative Salad Company – this Manhattan-born concept has become a leader in the fast-casual dining space, bringing fresh ingredients to T4. Dos Toros Taqueria – inspired by bold flavors, this Manhattan-based concept brought a Mission-style taqueria experience to New York City that has since become a local institution.    The openings are part of JFKIAT’s partnership with the HMSHost-led joint venture to bring a curated mix of local and small businesses into T4. These concepts reflect the type of locally rooted, founder-led brands that align with our vision of bringing New York's rich, diverse culinary landscape right into our terminal.    Together, these openings exemplify what's at the heart of T4's evolving food & beverage program: authentic stories, community roots, and a diverse range of flavors that could only be found in New York. • Airport Experience News’ 2026 Food & Beverage issue is live, and we had the opportunity to weigh in on a hot topic: how airport bars continue to thrive despite alcohol consumption being down in the U.S. It’s all about the experience and meeting travelers where they are. Tyler Pitman, our North American Senior Vice President of Concept Development, Brand Partners, and Adult Beverage, shares that this evolution in what travelers want is creating opportunity for those willing to innovate thoughtfully around changing consumer expectations. Think a speakeasy-style cocktail lounge embedded in a duty-free liquor store, an exclusive menu of premium spirits alongside an expertly crafted spirit-free cocktail program, local craft beer, and so much more. • We are proud to announce the 2025 inductees into our Avolta Customer Service Hall of Fame!   For the last 15 years, the Hall of Fame has recognized team members who have provided exceptional service that far exceeds customer expectations. The prestigious award has evolved over the years, but at its core continues to be our way of celebrating those who we believe represent the best of Avolta in North America.   During a celebration at our Support Center in Maryland, our North American Chief People & Culture Officer Laura FitzRandolph shared the significance of our Hall of Fame:   "We know that Avolta is the leader in our industry, but we don't get there by ourselves. We get there only through our people. They create moments that matter for our customers and our guests, every single day. Through our Hall of Fame, we have the honor of celebrating five outstanding team members — from 34,000 here in North America — who create those moments for our guests."   Please join us in congratulating these exemplary team members from North America!   🌟 Julia Wong – Sales Associate, YVR 🌟 Tamika Joseph – HR Specialist, CLT 🌟 Brunet Hercule – Cook, RSW 🌟 Lourdes Kabigting – Specialty Service Associate, ORF 🌟 Natasha Bomar – Barista, EWR
