AGC Vinythai’s bio-based Epichlorohydrin represents a competitive, drop-in alternative to conventional ECH, enabling customers to reduce their carbon footprint without compromising performance or process efficiency. AGC produces ECH by using glycerin as a base, which makes it a sustainable solution. The product, sold under the brand name epinity, is certified under both RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) and ISCC+ (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) mass balance standards, ensuring transparency and traceability throughout the value chain. ECH is known for its use in surface treatment (epoxy resin), in key chemical intermediates, and water treatment. The long-standig partnership between HELM US and AGC Vinythai began in 2017 and has grown steadily over the past years, driven by our shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and reliable supply to customers across key industries. Our team came together for our 2nd HELM Social Day — an annual initiative dedicated to giving back to the communities we’re proud to be part of. 'We Care' is one of HELMs three core values! This year, Helm US Corporation again partnered with the Houston Food Bank, where our team spent the day sorting, boxing, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and staging food products for distribution. The result? Together, we helped provide 22,688 meals for families across the Houston area — a significant jump from the 14,846 meals we helped provide last year.
