Earlier this week, I got to join our Boston team on the ground, officially opening Formation Bio's new office in Back Bay and I couldn't be more excited about this new chapter. Boston has always struck me as a place where intellectual pursuit and scientific curiosity are uniquely cherished, and where enterprises are celebrated not just for their financial impact but for their broader social impact. It's also a place where the HHMI professor or the Nobel laureate is as recognizable as the Red Sox starting pitcher (at least in the circles our teams are often in!). As we build this generation's AI-native pharma company, it mattered to us to put down roots there. We believe the quality of the people we're able to attract will be our single biggest competitive advantage in the long run and it's no secret that Boston and Cambridge hold some of the best and brightest in our industry. We've already begun hiring exceptional leaders and teams there, with much more to come.
