The services growth equation is breaking down. For years, more people meant more revenue. HFS Research measured 25+ global providers on a different yardstick: revenue and margin per employee. Firstsource is one of only six providers to sustain non-linear growth for four consecutive quarters, with FY26 revenue up about 20% against 4.5% headcount growth. And the shift isn't just on the provider side. HFS's survey of 202 enterprise leaders shows buying models are changing too, with FTE-based pricing expected to shrink as outcome- and consumption-based models gain ground. As the buying model changes, the ability to prove non-linearity with hard evidence will matter more.
