DoD-SkillBridge is an LinkedIn community resource that helps transitioning service members find approved SkillBridge providers and helps employers reach the military transition audience. We are not the official DoD SkillBridge program. We do not authorize providers or manage participation requests. Authorization for any SkillBridge provider can be verified through the Department of Defense directly. What we do here: -Surface real opportunities. Amply your program. -Spotlight employers -Build a community where service members, hiring managers, and program stakeholders can have direct access with transitioning service members, less noise. Who we are for: -Transitioning service members looking to leverage SkillBridge. -Employers and federal agencies running approved SkillBridge programs who want visibility. -HR leaders, recruiters, and programs using SkillBridge for their talent pipeline. The SkillBridge Weekly Roundup: Three employers active in the community this week, each running a real SkillBridge program. Apple July cohort host teams include Hardware and Software Engineering, and Manufacturing Design and Operations. Fellowships are in-person at Apple's Cupertino, San Diego, or Austin offices, during your final 4 to 6 months of service. The next information session is next week on May 21, 2026. County of San Mateo The County of San Mateo is made up of 26 departments serving more than 750,000 residents, making it one of the largest and most diverse counties in California. As its SkillBridge program continues to grow, opportunities are becoming available in Human Resources, the County Attorney’s Office, Emergency Management, Human Services Agency Veterans Service Office, Public Works, and our partner intelligence agencies. This program is a great fit for individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and are looking to make a meaningful impact in the local community. Builders FirstSource 600 locations across 43 states. Roles span entry-level labor, sales, safety, CDL and non-CDL driving, operations, project management, HR, design training, and manager training. On-the-job training designed to convert into full-time employment. Three different lanes this week, tech, government, and national trades, which is part of what makes SkillBridge worth a real look no matter what your post-service path is shaping up to be.
