It has been a joy to see the positive messages about our funding round, and to have the backing of such great new investors: DCVC, Kembara VC, British Business Bank and Firgun Ventures, as part of a new $160m financing of Quantum Motion.   What has also been very special is the continued support of existing investors ( Oxford Science EnterprisesInkefBosch VenturesPorsche Automobil Holding SE and Parkwalk) and partners like GlobalFoundries, many of whom have been with us for over eight years. Several have said that what keeps them working with us is simple: we do what we say.   Costantino Mariella from the British Business Bank pointed out that we “hit every milestone in our business plan” in his video, which is a testament to the incredible team I am fortunate enough to lead at Quantum Motion.   The comments from Gregg Bartlett at GlobalFoundries also mean a lot: “GlobalFoundries has been part of Quantum Motion's journey from the outset, and the results they've achieved on our FDX® platform speak to why investors are backing this company at scale. We're proud to be Quantum Motion's manufacturing partner of choice and we look forward to deepening our collaboration to help establish leadership in manufacturable quantum computing.”   It has taken solid, long-term collaborations with partners like GlobalFoundries and imec to get to the point of turning transistors into qubits and making the low-power cryogenic electronics to address them. I am looking forward to deepening these relationships.   The work is far from done, but the vision is getting closer: utility-scale quantum computers made using the same technology that powers your phone and laptop.
