Another WWE SummerSlam in the books! One of the best parts of the weekend was celebrating the opening of the brand-new Teen Center at the East Side Boys & Girls Club in Saint Paul, Minneapolis with Cricket Wireless, WWE Superstars, and our amazing BGCA partners. Watching young fans meet the WWE heroes they look up to (plus a special appearance from our own Rose!) was a reminder of what these moments are all about bringing more smiles to the community and creating memories that last. It’s always a privilege to join forces with organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta and SiriusXM to inspire and empower our young community. Last month, we welcomed 40+ students to explore careers in music and entertainment, presenting a $20,000 grant to Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta in partnership with the SiriusXM Cares Program. We can’t wait to see what our next generation can accomplish!
The future of music wasn't on stage—it was in the audience. SiriusXM and Cricket Wireless welcomed 40+ students from Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta to Rhythm in Action, an immersive experience designed to connect young people with the many careers that shape music, media, and entertainment. 🎹 📽️ 🎤 Throughout the day, students explored careers across the industry, connected with professionals, built their own Pandora Stations and Modes, and heard from artist Shaun Milli and leaders from SiriusXM, Pandora, ONErpm, and beyond. But one moment stood out. During a panel discussion, Orlando McGhee, Head of Urban Music at ONErpm, shared that he was once a Boys & Girls Club kid himself. A scholarship from the organization helped change the course of his life and opened doors he never imagined. Then he looked out at the room full of students and said: "That could be you." 🫵 And through our SiriusXM Cares program, we're proud to have partnered with Cricket Wireless to present a $20,000 grant to Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, helping create even more opportunities for the next generation of talent. Sometimes all it takes is a seat in the room. 🪑
