Today marks a meaningful moment for the Archdiocese of New Orleans as Most Reverend James F. Checchio officially becomes the 15th Archbishop of New Orleans and our new Board Chairman, succeeding Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond. We are deeply grateful for Archbishop Aymond's years of faithful leadership, which helped strengthen the charitable, educational, and pastoral ministries we exist to support. It has been a privilege to serve alongside him. We look forward to continuing that mission under Archbishop Checchio's leadership, building a lasting legacy of faith, generosity, and service for generations to come.
