Today, we proudly celebrate Keith Lipp - RSPA, DCA, Director of Racquet Sports, on 12 remarkable years at Boca Woods Country Club! 🎾 Twelve years ago, Keith joined Boca Woods with a vision that went far beyond the court. His focus has always been on creating experiences that bring people together, inspire new ideas, and strengthen the Community that makes Boca Woods so special. That is Keith. He sees opportunities where others see challenges, thinks outside the box, and understands that great programming is about creating moments that connect people. Through exciting tournaments, themed events, and innovative programming, Keith and our Racquet Sports Team have transformed racquets at Boca Woods. During his tenure, racquet sports participation has grown an INCREDIBLE 800%, a true testament to his leadership and creativity. But the numbers only tell part of the story. Keith’s greatest impact is seen in the relationships he has built, the Team he has developed, and the energy surrounding our Racquet Sports program today. As Andre Agassi once said, "This is the only perfection there is, the perfection of helping others." As we continue to strengthen our partnership with QIT Solutions, Boca Woods was proud to be invited to the QIT Solutions + C12: AI Lunch and Learn at the West Palm Beach Marriott. Representing Boca Woods was our Executive Administrator, Ana Paula Oliveira, who embraced the opportunity to learn more about how AI is being applied in real world business operations. Ana came away with valuable insights into how AI can improve efficiency, support smarter workflows, and create new opportunities for teams to work more effectively. Most importantly, she brought back ideas that can help us continue enhancing the experience we provide to our Members. A lower price on paper does not always mean a lower cost to the operation. In country club purchasing, the initial savings can disappear quickly if a vendor misses deliveries, requires constant follow-up, provides inconsistent products, or cannot resolve problems when the operation needs support. When I evaluate a supplier, I focus on three areas: • Price • Quality • Service Price matters, but it cannot be separated from product consistency, delivery reliability, and how quickly a vendor responds when a problem occurs. When price and quality are close, service can become the deciding factor. This does not mean paying more without justification. It means understanding what you receive for the price, and what poor performance can cost the operation. Good procurement does more than reduce prices. Our Retail Manager, Amy White, recently attended the Southeast/Caribbean Rep Show, hosted in part by the Association of Golf Merchandisers, where golf retailers and leading vendors came together to preview the latest apparel, accessories, and products for the upcoming Spring season. Amy has a great eye for style, but it’s her commitment to finding the right products for our Members that makes the difference. By connecting directly with vendors and seeing the newest lines firsthand, she helps ensure our Award Winning Pro Shop stays current, fresh, and stocked with products our Members will love. It’s this dedication behind the scenes that helps us continually elevate the Boca Woods Member experience.
