Atlantic was proud to support and participate in Camp Nawic Richmond, where middle school girls got a hands-on introduction to careers in the construction industry. 💙 From learning about jobsite safety and the importance of plumbing to cutting, cleaning, and pressing copper pipe with ProPress, campers rolled up their sleeves and got to work! They also completed basic plumbing rough-ins and assembled and installed a sink, faucet, and toilet using real hand and power tools along the way. Experiences like these help spark curiosity, build confidence, and introduce the next generation to the many opportunities available in the skilled trades. The momentum continued on Day 2 at Camp NAWIC RVA! Our campers packed an incredible amount into the day, building on the work they started earlier this week. They finished hanging drywall, taped and mudded the joints, installed siding, and got hands-on with plumbing—learning how to ProPress connections before installing sinks and toilets. It's amazing to see their confidence grow with every new skill they tackle.
