Yesterday, Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence was honored to join the UGI Corporation and AmeriGas teams for the Philadelphia Cycling Classic Corporate Pep Rally. Our CEO, Kathryn Fernandez, was honored to join fellow corporate and community leaders in celebrating the power of service and giving back. The event brought together corporate leaders, community partners, and employees around a shared commitment to strengthening communities. A standout moment was the UGI and AmeriGas teams building bicycles to be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters Littles across the country—an incredible demonstration of what can happen when purpose and partnership come together. During a ride-along, Tom helped an employee spot a dangerous situation before it became an injury. The employee's response? Gratitude, not defensiveness.
