  • So thrilled to see that our America’s Field Trip awardees had a blast in Atlanta. From The Carter Center to The Coca-Cola Company and The Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, students were able to explore the city and understand its importance in American history.

Such an incredible experience joining our America’s Field Trip winners in Atlanta this week! These remarkable students had the opportunity to explore some of Atlanta’s most important institutions and connect with the people and stories that have shaped our nation. Their visit included a day at America250 Signature Partner The Coca-Cola Company’s headquarters and World of Coke, the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum, and The Carter Center. The trip was made extra special thanks to accomodations provided by our partner Hilton. What makes America’s Field Trip so special is seeing history come alive for the next generation and giving students the opportunity to engage directly with the people, places, and ideas that define the American story. A huge thank you to all of our incredible partners who helped make this experience possible. These are the moments that make America250 so meaningful and remind us that our nation’s story is still being written by the next generation.

  • This past Thursday, a few of this year’s America’s Field Trip awardees had the opportunity to visit the NYSE and take part in a special milestone: the ringing of The Opening Bell. 🇺🇸 From exploring the iconic Wall Street building to standing on the podium, the visit gave students a firsthand look at one of the institutions that has helped shape America’s economic story. • Our American Story stopped in North Carolina  and found southern hospitality alive and well, a mountain community that rebuilt after Hurricane Helene with help from every state and a 99-and-a-half-year-old child of the Great Depression who still can't put into words how grateful they are to be an American. 🇺🇸

  • Ding Ding Ding! Honored to see some of our America's Field Trip awardees ring the Opening Bell at the NYSE! 🔔

  • Oklahoma always rebuilds. Always starts over fresh. Always uplifts each other. 🇺🇸 Our American Story stopped in the Sooner State and heard from the people who make it one of America's most resilient places. Watch the full video 👇

  • George the Star visited  the White House with this year's America's Field Trip awardees. 🇺🇸⭐ Students from across the country earned once-in-a-lifetime experiences celebrating America's 250th and experiencing the White House was one of them. While exploring “The People’s House,” George tried his hand at bowling, visited the Oval Office, and even said hello to his namesake, George Washington. A field trip with memories to last a lifetime!

The wait is over! Introducing United Flags of Fashion at Rockefeller Center. Presented by the CFDA, Vogue, #Rockefellercenter, and America250, United Flags of Fashion brings together leading American designers to reimagine the flags of all 50 states, five U.S. territories, Washington, D.C., and additional partners through the language of fashion. Now through September 4, more than 120 custom-designed flags transform Rockefeller Center into an open-air exhibition celebrating the nation's 250th anniversary through the collective creativity of American fashion. • 45 minutes end to end. One degree of separation between any two people. And a state motto that says it all: Hope. 🇺🇸 Our American Story stopped in Rhode Island. See what Rhode Islanders had to say.

  • Earlier this week, George the Star made a special appearance at the Girl Scouts 58th National Council Session at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC. 🇺🇸⭐ At the convention, America250 Chair Rosie Rios addressed delegates and Girl Scouts from across the country. She challenged every one of them to serve through America Gives, share their story through America's Field Trip and give back through Giving 4th. Girl Scouts have been incredible partners in America250's mission and if the energy in that room is any indication, the future of America is in very good hands.
