So thrilled to see that our America’s Field Trip awardees had a blast in Atlanta. From The Carter Center to The Coca-Cola Company and The Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, students were able to explore the city and understand its importance in American history.
Such an incredible experience joining our America’s Field Trip winners in Atlanta this week! These remarkable students had the opportunity to explore some of Atlanta’s most important institutions and connect with the people and stories that have shaped our nation. Their visit included a day at America250 Signature Partner The Coca-Cola Company’s headquarters and World of Coke, the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum, and The Carter Center. The trip was made extra special thanks to accomodations provided by our partner Hilton. What makes America’s Field Trip so special is seeing history come alive for the next generation and giving students the opportunity to engage directly with the people, places, and ideas that define the American story. A huge thank you to all of our incredible partners who helped make this experience possible. These are the moments that make America250 so meaningful and remind us that our nation’s story is still being written by the next generation.
