About us

A fifth-generation family-owned and -operated company headquartered in Oviedo, Florida, with diversified operations in agriculture and real estate, DUDA celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. Land and assets have always been at the foundation of DUDA’s strength and success, from the first 40 Florida acres Andrew Duda purchased in the early 1900s to over 45,000 acres owned and leased today across the U.S. Using good stewardship and land management practices, DUDA strives to achieve its corporate mission as a diversified enterprise through wide-ranging operations and subsidiary companies in agriculture, real estate development, and related businesses. Starting out as a small celery farm in 1926, DUDA’s business operations today include Duda Farm Fresh Foods, one of the world’s leading producers and suppliers of celery and other quality fresh and fresh-cut produce; The Viera Company, a highly regarded community developer with fully-integrated real estate operations including residential home builder Viera Builders, Duran Golf Club, Viera Commercial Properties, and Viera Pools and Outdoor Living; Duda Ranches, manager of DUDA’s agricultural operations including sod, sugarcane, and cattle; and DUDA Commercial Properties, the company’s asset management portfolio. Guided by a multigenerational leadership team and a family governance structure grounded in its purpose – To multiply and share God’s blessings – DUDA continues to pursue sustainable growth and community impact across its many operations.

We’re grateful for the generous donation from DUDA coinciding with their 100th anniversary celebration to support and expand adaptive swim lessons at the Oviedo YMCA. This gift will help increase program capacity and provide individualized swim lesson scholarships for children with special needs. The lessons will help children learn essential water safety skills, build confidence, and stay safe in and around water. 💙 Thank you to A. Duda & Sons, Inc. for investing in our mission and helping us create a stronger, safer community for all. • With only 0.02% of family-run enterprises reaching the century mark, the centennial achievement is something to celebrate. This month, we closed out our employee #DUDA100 celebrations with an event for our South Florida employees in Wellington, LaBelle, Moore Haven, and Belle Glade, where the event was hosted. At DUDA, we always say our strength is our people, and that's partly why we chose the campaign slogan #DUDA100YearsStrong. Without the collective efforts of current and past employees, we would not be here today celebrating 100 years of strength, innovation, and faith. We thank everyone who played a role in making these events possible. We look forward to continuing to honor the 100th anniversary throughout the year.

  • Our #DUDA100 campaign continues with celebrations in Salinas, Oxnard, and Viera for Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Duda Sod- Melbourne, The Viera Company, Viera Builders, and Duran Golf Club employees. Each event included a walking timeline of the company's history, interactive games, historical artifacts (with some dating back all the way to 1926), special Centennial Awards, and fellowship. We even had a few surprise guests at the Brevard Zoo, including Oscar the skunk and Shelley the porcupine! #DUDA100YearsStrong

  • We've been busy here at DUDA! As part of our 100th anniversary celebration, and our ongoing commitment to land and resource stewardship and community partnerships, we donated two pallets of Duda Farm Fresh Foods romaine lettuce to SeaWorld Parks & Resorts Orlando last week to help feed their rescue manatees. Totaling approximately 1,750 lbs, the donation went to SeaWorld's nearly 30 resident manatees, who consume around 60 cases of lettuce each day. It was a rewarding way to celebrate our milestone anniversary, and served as an educational opportunity to learn more about the great work being done by SeaWorld's Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Program.

  • Last week, we kicked off our #DUDA100 campaign at our new corporate headquarters building in Oviedo, Florida, with food, fellowship, awards, prizes, and special guests. Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson was in attendance to present us with the Century Pioneer Family Farms certification, and State Representative Rachel Plakon presented us with a state proclamation honoring our centennial year. Only 0.02% of family-run enterprises reach the century mark - placing DUDA among a rare group nationwide. Reaching the 100-year mark is a testament to the discipline, innovation, and long-term thinking that's guided DUDA's approach across generations. We're excited to keep the celebration going at several other locations this spring with employees at our Duda Farm Fresh Foods, The Viera Company, Viera Builders, Duran Golf Club and Duda Sod- Melbourne operations. Stay tuned for more!

  • We are excited to announce that DUDA and G's Group, one of Europe's leading family-owned, fully integrated fresh produce companies, have formed a new joint venture to acquire Tozer Seeds Ltd, one of the UK's most respected independent vegetable seed companies. This opportunity aligns with DUDA's vision of strengthening its Food and Agriculture Business into a more compelling, long-term strategic business. We aim to accelerate innovation and deliver the next generation of celery products and specialty crops that enhance flavor, quality, and category growth. Under the new ownership, Tozer Seeds will continue to operate as an independent seed business, retaining its name, leadership team, and long-standing commitment to excellence. The company will remain focused on breeding, multiplication, and global sales of specialty horticultural crops such as celery, parsnip, kale, coriander, rocket, squash, legumes, and leeks. The transaction includes Tozer’s operations in the UK, Spain, the Netherlands, and the United States. What this means for our partners and customers: ✔️ Continuity and Stability: Tozer will maintain its independence and continue serving existing customers without disruption. 💡 Enhanced Innovation: The collaboration strengthens research and development capabilities, ensuring access to cutting-edge varieties. 🌱 Commitment to Growers: Our goal is to support the success of growers and customers by delivering superior genetics and seed quality.
