This series is an emotional ride. It is dark, creepy, melancholic but also very beautiful. It is basically a love story told in a very unique way. It is a great blend of genres. When finishing the first four episodes, I was counting down days until the next two were released. Despite being a slow-burn at times, it is still very gripping. The acting from the entire cast is top notch, as well as direction, writing and overall visuals. It is one of those series that lingers on and is a food for thought. All of you who like to watch someething a bit more dark and emotional with supernatural elements will be definitely pleased with this one. Sometimes various series can drag a bit towards the end but I wish this one would have been even longer.
This was such a nice surprise. The overall feel of this series is very soothing. There are also moments of heavy drama and in the last few episodes the story veers off the track a bit but it is still a very nice watch with good acting, interesting characters and relatable topics.
It tells us that it is ok to be different, not fit in and eventually go against the stream of society. When you find comfort in something simple, why strive for more and more and in consequence never feel fully pleased. I also really like that they did not go full cheesy with the romance between the two leads.

A very emotional film about all the nuances of life. The beauty, the hardships, happiness, loneliness, courtesy, carelessness, secrecy are all themes carefully entwined in this story of a gentle man selecting people to give them the ultimate gift of being born. He is also aware of the complexities one will face when going through life. Some people get through it easier and some struggle a lot more no matter how decent they are "I send flowers, and other people send pigs to eat them" is one of his quotes from the film which describes that perfectly. The performances are top notch, the photography simple but beautiful and emotion is high. It is hard not to think about Nine Days after watching it. It might make you reflect on your own life as well. Definitely recommended.
