The show really doesn't have anything to do with space or going to Mars. But that's okay. It's about the characters and that's okay too. Instead of Mars they could have used any large technical project with some danger and possible design flaws. But it was Mars that drew me in and that was okay too; sort of.
This episode lost the pace and movement of the previous episodes. It was unnecessarily slow and long. This was the episode where the writers could just sketch out some character ideas and head for the beach. The actors got to show how with enough time they could show emotions in several ways and the director could be artsy. Perhaps their week started with the cancelation notice.
Skip it if you can. There were no plot developments.
I look forward with dread.

Some issues with handling of evidence, but the plot was good and did not rely on any half baked childish supernatural themes. Some indication at the end that they recognized their issues and have found a way to get themselves back on track.
I have been hard on this show this season. It showed so much hope last year but this year every episode has been poorly thought out and based on kid show themes and plots. There are going to be on going credibility issues with a show like this. I mean, how many big rewards are going to be out there and how can Colter just happen to be a few hours away each time? No need to aggravate that with witches, magic and aliens.

First I'd like to congratulate the 7th grader who wrote, directed, and produced this episode. Miss Malloy only gave him a C but somehow he got it turned into an NCIS episode. Not much in the episode made sense to the adult mind. The characters reacted to an incredibly serious situation like kids on a dodge ball playground. Only a 7th grader could plausibly believe that NCIS would be so involved in this. And then the characters act irrationally throughout. Wandering around the country side. The FBI fails to search the building; multiple times. Time almost runs out because the character decided to run upstairs in stead of using the phone she used moments before.
Every year they put out one awful episode. Hope this was it. Fire those responsible for preventing this.
