Gladiator is one of my all time favorite movies. I honestly went into this movie with very low expectations and it was worse than what I was expecting. This movie has fantastic actors, so it's not their fault, as we all know they can act. And the storyline may have worked. I felt like it was very lazy with the development of the story and dialogue. There was almost zero character development. There were times that were just copycats of the first movie. The first scene was fine, but incredibly predictable. It was a lot more gore as well, which was unnecessary. Not too mention the sharks...really?!? Just dumb.

I actually really liked the first movie. Thought it was funny and entertaining. This movie was just awful. I wasn't expecting much, but it was worst than I thought it was going to be. I may have laughed once...after something I said making fun of it. Ten minutes in and I was already bored out of my mind. Such a shame because I think they could have done something really good with these characters and they just made them annoying. Wish they would have developed them better and took some more time on the storyline. Too much of it was forced. I watched it with my 8 year old son and he wasn't impressed either. Not really sure what audience they were going for but I think it ranks right up there with the last Thor movie. Both were equally awful!

Very entertaining and pretty funny! I watched it with my 8 year old son and he loved it as well. It did a great job of showing what you can do with a lot of hard work and dedication. Also, how to humble yourself, and take responsibility when you do something wrong. Lots of good lessons for adults and kids. Highly recommend. There wasn't any bad words or inappropriate scenes for kids either. Felt very comfortable watching with my kids. Well done!
Side note...I know when he was putting his Kobe poster back up and said "I've missed you!", he wasn't exactly meaning he missed Kobe himself, but having his poster where it belonged, but I started crying. I've missed Kobe too. It brought up a lot of good memories of me watching him play. Thankful for all the Kobe references.
