The series seems to be a mixture of crime/ thriller/ whodunnit and a kind of family drama of the super-rich.
The first episode wasn't bad, but it wasn't a spectacular highlight either. Good: The actors are all very convincing (Kidman and Schreiber in particular are extremely good and perform great), most of the dialogue fit well and the atmosphere is harmonious. The setting (The Kennedy property in Cape Cod probably served as a model) is really high quality and very convincing.
But: the story is a bit boring, because you've seen something like this too many times before. The many clichés are also very annoying.
I'm not sure if I'll keep on watching - Probably yes, because there are a lot of series that are significantly worse. I wish for more suspense and less drama...

After seeing the high ranking and the prominent actors, I became interested in the Movie. The plot seemed exciting and funny. The comparison with "wag the dog" (one of the best political satires) mentioned several times in reviews spoke in favor of the film.
But the result was very disappointing. The film is certainly not bad, but unfortunately also not really good, entertaining or funny (not even on the satire Level...).
After a few minutes the story is predictable: There are no Plot twists and turns and the performance of the actors (all top people) is poor. The characters are more exaggerated than in a comic-adaptation, all of them...
Why? Everything is subordinated to the great metaphor (Why does nobody believe science?). That is very well-meant, sounds very smart ... and is unbelievable boring.
