Poor acting skills by the adults...over=cliched stereotypes. Disjointed at times without being able to tell who is who and what is what. The children's acting skills were great, but the adults who should know how to act were not putting on their best performance. This could be all a result of editing as well. The story has been told before, over and over. Towards the end of the movie, it just went to he77 in a handbasket. Was the boy the one who needed deliverance or was it the grandma? Was it the girl or older boy? I have no idea but we started off with the small boy, Andre who for a while talked to an imaginary friend, Trey...although we didn't see much of that before this buster movie took off leaving you scratching your head. Would love to see this done again, only with better acting, better special effects, better environmental surroundings. Not rich surroundings, just more light so we can see what is going on.
Very juvenile show with poor acting or over-acting. I love well written shows and this could have had potential with a more complex script and better actors. Very little substance and falls flat.
Old cliches throughout script that are cringe-worthy. The actors seem like they are acting....nothing comes off as natural. The major events that happen are not gone into very well or discussed thoroughly. So it makes the show look like it is moving too fast to make much sense. Again, this could have had great potential but it feels very "off" and is missing a lot of story telling. I rated this a 1 star.
