Very low quality. MJ would have never approved this production. Muted colors, bad animation. The cast roster is the best thing about it.

In the new sweep of upcoming Newark, New Jersey movie productions comes the brilliance of North Housing Authority. Directors Crystal Dinero Simmons (from "A Sub in the Brick City") and Shaheed Shaheed (from "911 Gun Violence" and "The Red Bowtie") are setting the standards high for esoteric avant garde urban film making.
North Housing Authority is a blend of grit, drama, comedy, music, and re-inventing the traditional themes and narratives, pushing the boundaries of typical urban independent film. The film gives a view in film that encourages the viewer to think about the plot and characters that draws you in to want more.
These innovations are accentuated by outstanding eclectic direction and a cast of phenomenal new-comers. The character "Pookie" played by the late Willie Asbury, is one of the comedic highlights in the production. Muju Thompson (Talia) and Karima Holloway (Aaliyah's mother) give outstanding and contrasting performances of two mothers with decidedly different perspectives on life.
As with any independent production there are some minor improvements that can be made in regard to the editing and these are transitions that can be made over time and overall production improvement.
We have a lot to look forward to with the production team of CANEI, Crystal Clear Entertainment and Steve O.D.Knucklebus Productions. They are surely leading the way.
