.....it sucked me in anyway, and I ended up watching the whole first season in a day.
The reason is, that the quality of acting is so superb, that you at times wonder if the leads are actually acting, or just being themselves.
Gillian Jacobs is either extraordinarily talented, or completely neurotic - and I need to keep watching, to work out which it is :)
It's in the same comedic vein as "You're The Worst", but not quite as good, because the writing is not on par.... but then, "You're The Worst" is one of my favorite 3 shows.
8/10

Craig Ferguson is still one of the funniest people on the planet.
But, this format is terrible.
It started well, with a familiar feeling cold open, that made everyone laugh.
But, enter the panel, to discuss "the biggest political blunders in history"..... and apparently that doesn't really mean "history" - it rather means "within the past 20 years, because nobody remembers further back".
Add to that, that the short format means you never really get any in-depth discussion, because you need to hurry it along, to the rapidly approaching end of the short show.
It leaves you with a feeling, that it might as well be a TMZ panel discussing the latest Kardashian story..... shallow, mildly entertaining and quickly forgotten.
I hope the format changes.... both in length and in depth, because otherwise this will be a one-season run, for one of my favorite comedians, unfortunately.

Very much in the same comedy vein as Modern Family, this show is very well cast indeed, all round, even the kids are promising characters with comedic potential.
Writing is modern, dialogue driven, fast paced and funny.
I have added this show to my "must watch comedies list", for this part of the year, along with Modern Family, You're The Worst, Black-ish and catastrophe, and currently, it's the funniest show to watch on a Wednesday.
I highly recommend it, because this show has the potential to become a long running hit, also because of smart and ambitious scheduling.
