'My Girlfriend's Boyfriend' is sweet, original and completely surprising.
I've always been a fan of Alyssa Milano, especially during the first 3 years of 'Charmed'. I loved the fact that in the movie it's mentioned that her character is a vegetarian. I've read that Alyssa is vegetarian in real life.
Tom Lenk plays Jesse's (Alyssa) brother with depth and compassion. It's nice to see this former BtVS actor in a non geeky role.
Christopher Gorham is sweet as Ethan. Carol Kane is great in every role she plays.
This movie is filmed in Utah which is refreshing as so many movies are filmed in British Canada that it's easily recognized. I love Canada but after seeing this film, I now want to visit Utah.

Love this show!
Watched Shiri in 'Roswell', Kerr in 'Dawson's Creek' and wondered if they could pull it off as a couple. They do.
Shiri's character Kate is forced to face the child she gave up almost 16 years ago. Lux (Brittany) has spent those years bouncing through the foster home system and she's excellent as a young woman who struggles to fit into this new family.
Rafi is perfect as Bug, Lux's boyfriend who struggles with many issues himself.
I've not seen Kristoffer's previous work but he's great as Lux's father who's struggling to be a father as he grows up himself.
Each week's episode brings me to tears, sometimes of joy and sometimes of sadness - then I have to wait another week for the next episode!
I will be buying this on DVD - love this show!

I loved both American Gothic and Invasion, buying both series on DVD. Shaun creates the coolest characters and as you watch his stories you can _never_ guess what is going to happen next. In American Gothic I couldn't decide whether I hated or loved Sheriff Lucas Buck and Gary Cole played the part so well. William Fichtner was incredible as Sheriff Tom Underlay in Invasion - he has a depth that is so rarely seen on TV.
I can't understand why both of these shows were cancelled after only 1 season but then again that's TV for you. Maybe Shaun should spend more time on the big screen.
I look forward to his next creation.
