Buffy The Vampire Slayer is a rare gem of television magic at its best. This is the only show that I have ever seen that breaks through every genre and does it perfectly. When you watch Buffy you get a clever blend of horror, comedy, drama, fantasy, action, and mystery.
I can't fit everything I love about this show on the space provided......
I'll just say that Buffy The Vampire Slayer is an intense, emotional roller-coaster you have to see to believe.
Bottom Line: Watch Buffy...Experience the thrill of this truly remarkable show. 10/10

This was one of the most suspenseful direct-to-video thrillers I have seen in quite a while.
The movie starts off with three intruders breaking into a house while the family sleeps and picks up wonderfully from there.
If I Die Before I Wake, was one of those films where the situation could happen to anybody and that's where it's appeal comes from. This movie centers around a teenage girl living in the house and how she deals with whats going on. Her main focus are to of course, get out of the house, keep herself and little sister hidden, and to protect her family who are meanwhile being tortured and beaten.
The movie had a great load of suspense for the first twenty minutes but then winds down as the lead character is forced with split-second decisions. However, the end sequences pick up with intensity leading to a hard-hitting climax.
The acting was especially good with the teenage girl comparable to Marilyn from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
There wasn't much violence or gore so don't rent this looking for a massacre. Do rent this though if you want to be thrilled and at the edge of your seat. 6/10

Before I wrote this I read the other reviews for this film and was disgusted! How can so many people not like this film? It was much better than the other sequels because it gave a method to Michaels madness. I know, for some people the reason for his killings was a little hard to swallow and that's what ruined it for them. However, I thought the idea of Michael being cursed made sense and only raised my appreciation for the first Halloween.
I give credit to the director for setting such a great mood with this movie. The lighting was the best of any other Halloween film and I loved the work he did with shadow effects. Without a doubt the most stylish of the series it gave Michael a real boogeyman flare and spunk never before conceived.
I have to admit, it's not the easiest Halloween film to follow but after you see it you'll get the basic concept. However, from what I hear there is a rare "producers cut" which supposedly explains everything the released version doesn't.
Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers also had great servings of blood and gore, including some of my favorite deaths of the series. There is an especially spectacular massacre later on in the film which I particularly enjoyed.
Either you'll love this film or you'll hate it, depending on how you conceive Michael to be evil. I seem to be in a minority here, but I loved it.
There were plenty of scares, suspense, blood, and original story line in this film to satisfy me so I give it a 8/10
