The fights are fluid, and the anime overall is faithful to the manga. The story is also good, with Baki being well-written, as well as other characters. Not to mention how good the vibe feels. Characters like Jack, Hanayama, Gaia, and even Yujiro are well-written, with Jack having a somewhat similar backstory to Baki and Hanayama being badass. Also, each episode is entertaining and well-animated. If I'm being honest there aren't many flaws with this anime. People also tend to forget that you have to watch the original baki to understand what's going on in the Netflix version. People over look that.
The story smartly integrated with the sub plots and the fights didn't drag on for too long. The intro starts off strong and not boring. I recommend it to someone who liked gore and insanity. If you have watched old baki then the story would be more impact full and compelling. Which is one of the reasons why I recommend the old anime. Not only for the setup but also for how good it is. I won't further mention the old anime but if you wanna get more engaged with the story I definitely recommend for you to watch it before watching this. But overall the fights are stupidly cool and the story keeps a pretty good pace.
