Disappointed with this version and could not finish, even though I tried coming back to it a few times
I enjoyed the last two Christie adaptations : Hugh Laurie's Why didn't they ask Evans was superb with beautiful locations, amazing casting and great script!!
Murder is Easy was also good with a differentiated storyline from the previous 80s version with Olivia de Havilland and 2000s version with Benedict Cumberbatch.
Except for Angelica Huston, nothing kept me engaged with this latest Towards Zero.
In the Marple version from earlier, Greg Wise personified Neville Strange and was charming!!
Hope BBC does a better job with the next Christie book they choose.

Fans of Midsomer murders will enjoy watching John Nettles (DCI Barnaby) as Raoul!
It is an intriguing short story and the episode brought the story to life very well! Definitely a case where adaptation matches the story with small changes that enhance the original on screen!
John Nettles' portrayal of Raoul shows devotion and the intent to make sense of the mystery!
Even though the production quality is not great, the outdoor scenes of Felicie, Annette and Raoul are atmospheric! Annette's piano playing and singing is also very natural
Many episodes of the Agatha Christie Hour were thoughtfully cast and written, this is one of the best in the series!

If you are a fan of the book, do not watch!! I stopped watching half way through.
Not sure why the plot needed to be altered so much?! All the changes detract from the original story.
Locations and photography were great!
So many wonderful actors - Sean Biggerstaff, Samantha Bond, Natalie Dormer, Richard Briers; I feel bad for them but not much they could do with bad writing and plot.
Julia McKenzie was good as well but adding Miss Marple into the plot did not fit in as well as it did in Towards Zero adaptation.
The 1980 version is better but bit slow, the Hugh Laurie version from 2022 is the best. There were some changes made in 2022 version but they align well with the original.
