What Happened at 625 River Road (2023)
Better than i expected
The acting wasn't great but it wasn't awful. I think the story got lost with the variety of thick accents along the way. That being said the overall plot was solid. Decent psychological thriller if you hang in for the whole story. I enjoy unpredictable twists in the story. You can piece some things together fairly early on but there were still some twists up until the end that left me satisfied with this watch overall. It's a little frustrating to see some significant red flags be ignored by the main characters early on, which didn't give me much hope but as more details get revealed along the way, it's moderately excusable. I think they could've made those moments a little more subtle though for it to be logical for ANYONE to stay in the situation portrayed especially in todays world.
Little Jar (2022)
Surprisingly entertained.
This movie probably isn't for everyone reading this but it's quirky and mildly disturbing but somehow still cute. Comedic approach to the isolation of 2020 and an extreme but somehow still plausible look at what one's mind can go through when completely shut off from general human connection. Quite a few moment's of light hearted laughter but somehow heartbreaking at the same time. It's so hard to explain, lol. Idk. Check it out if you can laugh while looking back at the pandemic without getting overly serious or offended at a movie making some harmless jokes against it. There's a lot to learn and take away from it if you can read between the lines.
