I loved how in the first episode, we get to see what happens within the 18 month time jump and get a "what's happened since last time" style. I like that this one is only in the Outer Banks and I hope they stay there for a lot more with a few foreign treasure hunting times.

You can tell it's JJ's season as he's shown a lot more and he's most invested and the most reckless (per usual but this season he's really stupid and reckless so far)! It's nice to see all the couples together and thriving, and love how they explain the reason to even get back into treasure hunting towards the end. Also, how did they only get a million from El Dorado, I thought they were supposed to get $400 million?

As I am on a mission to watch every movie from every main Outer Banks actor, here's one of the only films Rudy Pankow is in. The Crusades is something I was really surprised by! It's a fresh take on high school comedy with some decent acting from side characters and great acting from Rudy himself. The movies funny, enjoyable, and a good time. I understand the hate that this gets, but it doesn't mind me. I liked it and I would be happy if a sequel released that was a follow up after the school merger. Either way, The Crusades is worth a watch. Maybe you like it, and maybe you won't but it's streaming on Paramount+ and Showtime! Overall a 4/5 for me!
