I felt quite a bit reluctant to watch this episode as I was influenced by the many who stated and criticized against MAPPA's animations in comparison to Wit's. However, in contrary to their beliefs, I decided against their advises and proceeded to watching this anime without manga supervision.
My first impression of this episode brought me in awe and admiration towards the heavily invested work that was brought into this animation. It went FAR beyond my expectations as I did not expect much of a vibrant look in this sort of animation style, it soothes exceedingly well.
The fight with Eren against the Titans of Marley was much too appeasing and satisfatiable. They gave enough screentime towards this scene which makes it the most remarkable.
This marks it as a great start off to this season.
Great Opening and Ending theme selection that goes deeply into connection with the storyline. Shows how much they dedicated their time into setting each phenomenal aspect of the show despite the rushed schedule.
The opening starts off dark and gloomy, with a foreboding attachment to it, loss of lives and destruction of massive colonies.
Rumbling.... Rumbling.... Rumbling...
The ED went on to a somewhat blissful ending, an empty feeling comprising with a beautiful scenary, after the events with all the wars and conquests met along the way.
But... have they achieved what they truly sought for?

Thanks Disney, I liked this series , except for a few episodes that didn't turn much to be appealing. The first epsiode had a unique artstyle that went well with what seemed 'japanese' and it brought me into watching its other episodes. While the other episodes certainly didn't follow the similar art portrayed by the first episode, they amazed me by bringing in a bigger variety of styles by different animation studios. Some episodes were quite disappointing judged by artstyle, yet I can understand as most of it was targeted towards children.
Hoping for other Disney franchises to also get a decent anime adaptation but with a certain plot this time.
