Who's to blame? Bad writing by Craig Sweeny (currently perpetrating "Watson" on us as well) or just filmmaking by committee that results in lots of scenes and ideas jumbled together as if by some nutty editor, creating an indigestible movie the way Sam Raimi's "Dr. Strange" film stunk up the place?
At any rate, an opportunity was missed here to take a Star Trek project and present characters working together, as Section 31, in a negative way rather than the humanistic teams Gene Roddenberry envisioned. Sort of like those many Villain's POV origin stories recently made in the DC Comic Book universe.
The opening and climax scenes of Michelle Yeoh's Georgiou and her soulmate San could have been the basis for a poignant, overarching story arc, but came off hokey here. At the hour mark, the tons of violence and even whodunit action piled on in concentrated form is wearying. An 8 or 10-part standard miniseries, in which each of the characters of Section 31 could have been introduced and developed would have worked far better.
The only thematic content that stuck with me when the show was over was Decadence, how this and so many other SPFX sci-fi projects that now dominate (for decades) movies and even TV have devolved into self-worshiping nonsense. The huge night club setting, with its stupid costumes and jet set of the future characters is in superhero movies, John Wick movies and even Tom Cruise movies, all trying to be hip. The real decadence is in spending hundreds of millions of dollars each time to make mindless junk.

Ricky Greenwood has an off-day (or three off-days) with this poorly-scripted set of three Girlsway segments united on an Adult Time VOD.
Best of the bunch provides plus-size entertainment for the fans in pairing a big-breasts/big-butt duo Arabelle Raphael and Sarah Arabic in "Irresistible Outfit". Nominal story has Sarah Arabic ordering package after package after delivery girl Arabelle Raphael arrives the first time wearing a tight outfit that maximizes the allure of her outsized figure. When Arabelle asks what's up with so many delivery requests, Arabic confesses her crush on Raphael and especially her mammoth breasts.
There are tender moments during the subsequent half-hour of gonzo sex, but in general Sarah and Arabelle take the standard Sapphic sex techniques a step further. This is quite different from the lovey-dovey romantic scenes featuring conventionally beautiful models that Girlsway fans are accustomed to, more akin with the general coarseness of internet porn.
Rather disappointing is "More Than Just a Voice". TV fans get to watch sexy Jennifer Love Hewitt on "9-1-1", and Girlsway provides its own "zero-action, all-sex" version in this episode bringing back the hot starlet of several years back, Karlee Grey.
Now Karlee has morphed, at age 30, into a PAWG, with the camera plus her propensity for twerking emphasizing her big butt on screen. Retained for her fans is her thick bush.
The story setup by writer Lapis Afterglow is extremely poor: diminutive Avery Black, noted for her alluring stubby nipples, visits Karlee bearing a bouquet of flowers, as a thank-you for Karlee the 911 phone operator having helped save her life when Black was involved in a train accident. Their entire meeting and conversation lasts only two minutes before horny Karlee seduces Avery on the living room couch.
The girls go mechanically through many, many sexual positions for the camera, but the scene never becomes more than all-sex filler.
Panty-sniffing has to be one of porn's least evocative fetishes, almost PG in its content, though I suppose that uptight folks who find perversion hiding everywhere would object automatically. "Their Passion for Panties" runs this fetish into the ground in unconvincing fashion.
What passes for a story set-up has lovely (if randomly cast) roommates Charlotte Stokely and Vanessa Sky both addicted to panty-worship. After "bad dates", the ladies compare notes on what went wrong -namely that each of them turned off a potential lover by exposing an obsession for panties that caused the other woman to tag her as a "perv".
So the set-up dialogue concludes with the two roommates deciding on the spot to take the step of transitioning to lovers, and they have sex on the proverbial living room couch. Included in the humping is panty-sniffing, stuffing panties in the mouth, and stuffing panties in the pussy, among the usual stuff like, fingering, face-sitting and nipple-sucking.
It's all phony-baloney, trying to make a standard Sapphic coupling seem a bit kinky.
