I started watching to catch up to current seasons and segway into Southern Hospitality. I was good with it up to about season 8 I think because cast members disappeared basically. Then it got cringe with Thomas and the sexual assault which he admitted to and Bravo felt okay with showing him again and acting like that didn't happen. It almost makes me wonder with all that transpired with Kathryn, if she and new nanny staged it. The fact Kathryn moved back in with him after speaks volumes. I like Craig and Shep. I miss Cam but think she was smart to remove herself ahead of them showing Thomas. She is southern charming. I have zero pity for Kathryn and glad she removed herself. The biggest issue with this show is it's over produced and reality is lost in forced story lines. Cast changes are frustrating. Landon leaving was a plus because she was basically shamed off due to her falsely thinking she could fit into the south when clearly she is typical so cal trifling material. The hairdresser who was on survivor was annoying playing the , mom- to- everyone role like she was on a pedestal looking down on everyone. It got bad when they started white shaming and doing the whole poor me minority (i'm successful and wealthy but a victim) nonsense which is why I'm hesitant to watch southern hospitality. Shep and Craig are good reality tv as was cam and even Kathryn. Not sure why they kept Taylor except for a ridiculous plot line. Maddison isn't appealing to me. Patricia is great and I enjoy her parties and historical information she provides. Lots of bullying Shep for his age as if he's supposed to act and behave a certain way because of his age? Still, it's more entertaining than summer house but never will reach VPR status. Rating: 7.

I enjoyed LMS with Tim Allen minus all the cast changes through the season, but it was wholesome. I'm a thriller series fan but need to balance out with sitcoms. Is this series cliche? Yea .. but aren't all sitcoms? Okay we won't ever get a who's the boss or any of the quirky 80's shows that would never have been shown today; but, by today's rigid standards, Shifting Gears makes the cut. I enjoyed the acting by all involved. The child actors have a bright future ahead for sure. I am glad this show touches on grief. Most can relate to grief, divorce, moving back with parent(s), etc. It's nice to see the classic cars and I am enjoying the shop dynamic. So much can be done around the kids in school. Loss of star for set design which is currently too sterile.

I did not know much about Martha S. Other than she was wealthy and used to cater to the wealthy. Of course I knew she had a product line and a show and magazine and served time. So I was curious to know more about her and decide to give the documentary a try. I was stunned throughout the presentation and got emotional towards the end. I did not know it was Comer who determined she should be prosecuted and frankly this documentary confirmed what I always felt to be true about him; a liar who was desperate for attention and the spotlight. It's gross how she was prosecuted but I believe she became a better human as a result. I got the impression she was sheltered as a child by a bigoted and over bearing, borderline abusive, father. Then she marries a wealthy guy and is thrust into the uber wealthy world of wall street; once again surrounded by wealth and privilege. She was totally naive to the goings on of anyone outside of her business universe. Her boyfriend just wanted her there for status and the way he broke it off was disgustingly insensitive. Martha was shocked by the way in which he went about ending it, which suggests she had no idea about the man she was with for 15 years. I'm not even sure she realized how vulnerable she was, being a billionaire, and all those who wanted to ride her skirt tails, who she may even have considered friends, only to have them turn on her as soon as things got tough. I admire her independence and love of self and wanting to be better and keep growing. I have a new fondness and respect for this woman.
