This series is no Sopranos, it isn't the Godfather. Ok it's no Boardwalk Empire.
But it certainly isn't 1 star! What is it with people. Extremely watchable. You watch Costa Nostra films and programs because they are clichéd.
It has a great characters, the acting is fine, supplemented by some fabulous cameos of stars who have done the Mafia/gangster circuit.
The first series felt like a long pilot of 4 short episodes. Then once money was committed for a proper second series it took off.
Well written, acting isn't as bad as some seem to think, in fact, it seems authentic without trying.
You've gpt to have a real grudge to dislike this so much, that wring a 1 star review is worth the effort!
