I have never seen the old Ducktales or for that matter any of the old Disney shows. And I can still say, this show slaps.

The animation is amazing; It can be really smooth and captures the comic book aesthetic. The characters are amazing, especially the main trio. They are all very likeable while still managing to be realistic and have good character arks. The other main characters e.g. Scrooge and Webby are also great. However maybe there are a little too much characters, and it feels like the secondary characters are fighting for screen time. This show's humour is also great, constantly making me laugh each episode. And despite all the references and call-backs to the original show (according to other reviews, again I have never seen the original) I don't feel alienated by them, and the show doesn't rely on them to the point where it is only enjoyable by audiences of the older shows (for the most part). The action is amazing, its so fun to see these characters go on their adventures; If I could describe the show in one word, It'd be fun. I also think the finale is amazing, but I won't go into it because spoilers. However I do feel like the pacing is a little bit off, and it feels like some moments just happen spontaneously without any build-up, especially in the third season. That and a few other flaws prevents me from giving it a 10/10, but overall its still an amazing show with great humour and thrilling action. So don't worry if you haven't seen the original, I still give this show my full recommendation for anyone.

This show is pretty good, but it's bought down by being to similar to Gravity Falls

Disney channel and Disney XD Are both going through a rough patch. But, even in the darkest times, you can always find a light (I'm pretty sure that is a quote from harry potter but I'm not sure). And that light is gravity falls. Gravity Falls is funny is full of thrilling action and has a big mystery element.Although gravity Falls is a kid's show, It is full of adult jokes and disturbing plots and images. Fans of Gravity falls can range from the age of 6 to 60. Also, Gravity falls is a big mystery. From episode 1 Gravity falls is full of mystery and as the show progresses, the answer to these mysteries just more mysteries. And that's why Gravity falls isn't just a cartoon ou watch, It's experience you participate in. If you have disneyplus, Then go watch gravity falls as soon as you can. It's extremely funny and the show will never go 5 minutes without making you laugh. In my opinion Gravity falls is the one the best, and my favourite, cartoon ever. Also, the characters are extremely entertaining and lovable and even the villains of this show will leave you dying for more.
