ROOTS: THE GIFT Is an excellent addition to the saga. Because It Is set In between the time period of Parts 2 and 3 of the original series, It's likely that you would find It hard to understand. However even If you haven't seen any of ROOTS, THE GIFT Is a fell-good drama, and you'll be guaranteed a little weep.
JESUS OF NAZARETH Is a simply unforgettable six hours of television. Even If It's Inaccurate In some places, It's one of the greatest works of the 20th century and certainly the most moving. Robert Powell also gives the greatest peformance an actor or actress has ever given. TV and film's best ever production.
THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS goes (In my view of course) along with (In release order) FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, LIVE AND LET DIE, THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN, A VIEW TO A KILL and the later TOMORROW NEVER DIES, as the best of the Bond series. Timothy Dalton is clearly born to have played James Bond, he might not have Connery's suaveness or Moore's smooth voice, but he's great as Bond. THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS is a non-stop action-packed modern 007 adventure not to be missed!.
