If you like an espionage streamer, great acting and cast, contemporary politics and crises, a-plus cinematography and editing, fine direction - all of that - then this is in your bag. If you like Michael Fassbender, he's the main guy. Amazing that Richard Gere could convincingly pull off a main role. With Jeffrey Wright and other cool actors. Sustained intrigue, tension, mystery and suspense.
Back story about Fassbender (Agency pro)'s dedication to his spycraft. Unique romantic or foolish relationship. Excellent casting of relatively minor characters. One of my favorite ways to pass time streaming right now.

You just might find your self questioning your own sense of reality. Utterly creepy but meaningful. Visually and philosophically inspired by Stanley Kubrick, I believe.
No, the main character is not Tom Cruise - in fact he might be an anti-Cruise, not a Scientologist. Very well done as a lead actor. Always great to see John Turturro, Patricia Arquette, and Christopher Walken.
"Helly" is quite a find.
Remember. Remember? It's just a story. But aren't we all? Don't we all need and treasure our own personal histories?
George Orwell might have approved, but he probably did not anticipate the advance of AI.
It's a trip.

I've watched a few episodes, and I think that's it. Looks to me like a vanity project for Keri Russell, trying to re-set after "The Americans." Concocted Mid-East danger plot with Russell as a shoe-horned in ambassador, on track to be selected VP. Lots of pretty scenery and glamour. Over all not much better than major network clickbait for one of their audiences, dressed up as a streaming service "thriller," which it just can't muster the seriousness to be. Guess who the US President is? Michael McKean - Michael McKean was a fairly low grade TV comedy actor, here playing a buffoonish POTUS because he can do that well. Oh, and Rufus Sewell as the Russell ambassador's "wife," whatever? Strutting around and making faces like Sewell can do. Too many sophisticate insider operatives clashing with each other. Wouldn't it be even better if it were set in another era where they could all dress up in overdone costumes? Russell is hardly ever off the camera and that seems to be the point.
