It's great to see Aria, then using the alternate stage name Marie Silva, starring in the Wicked Pictures release "Restless" opposite the label's superstar Sydnee Steele. This interesting story of two frustrated wives sort of trading their husbands was not listed in IMDb for 15 years until I added it to the database this week.
With Aria voicing over helpful narration, the Raven Touchstone screenplay begins with a variation on "meet cute", as Aria's shabby car breaks down and Steele in her snazzy convertible gives her a lift.
In something of a harmless "Strangers on a Train" conceit, the two of them decide to seduce each other's husband, after comparing notes on each hubby's personality. Steele is neglected by her wealthy mate Marty Romano (slicked up here for a change, not his usual lowlife/biker persona) while is sick of living with her domineering biker man Evan Stone.
Both actresses are terrific, in and out of bed, leading to a cute ending, staged symmetrically with the opening by director Fred Lincoln, only this time it is Aria driving the convertible, heading to a new life while Steele is saddled with the broken-down junker.
In the BTS short subject on the DVD Lincoln is amusingly mocked by his cast for not being all that conversant with the script, yet the final result is well-made and quite entertaining, better than most of the veteran director's hundreds of features. Many impressive femmes have sex scenes in the supporting cast, including threesomes with the male leads featuring Holly Hollywood & Chelsea Blue (for Evan) and ultra-busty Renee LaRue and Nikki Lynn for Marty -plus big-name Taylor St. Claire in a 3- way planned by Aria for her new beau Evan.
