This show is really underrated but it is understandable. First off, the sequel has taken very long. Also, the anime has so many generic tropes that makes it predictable especially in the early episodes. The series is like a mind game series that rests on intelligence and brains throughout the first season. It would have been better only if they did not implement some of the usual high-school clichés we've seen in anime so many times. However, the anime managed to turn things around halfway through. It became brilliant, fast paced and mysterious. The cliffhangers left me anticipating for more and the plot became unpredictable. Its such a pity the sequel never came when the ending of the first season was so impressive.

I don't really know in which specific category of anime this series belongs but it is a weird mixture of romance, drama, and scholarly animations. In summary, it is about a student that wants to transform a classroom of useless people into the best one of its school. This is done by a system of points in which every classroom gains a certain amount of points depending on how they perform on certain tests. These points accumulate and, depending on your amount of points, the classroom gets a specific denomination from A to D that can be related to socioeconomic classes, being A the best one and D the lowest one.
The strong points of this series and the reason that I liked it a lot are its characters (especially the MC) and the plot twists that it presents. The characters are really dynamic and all of them have complex personalities that make them extremely interesting. Then, the story manages to create an interesting story that grabs you from the first episode with an unexpected plot-twist until the end where the MC shows how intelligent he really is and what his intentions are.
But, not everything is good with this anime specifically for its ending. The problem with it is that it is an open ending that leaves almost no answer for anything that the series was building towards. This is an issue as there is any confirmation of a second season.
In conclusion, the Classroom of the elite is a really good series with amazing characters and an engaging story. But, this story gets cut halfway and it ends up incomplete. So, if you want to watch it keep in mind that you will be left with no real conclusion and with almost every question without an answer.

To all of those reading this, do not stop watching until the end of this anime! I became obsessed with this after watching it thinking, "this looks like a decent school anime with a mastermind character", but after watching this, I immediately looked up the manga to see if I could keep follow the story. However, disappointingly, the english version of the manga is behind the anime.
The only reason I didn't give this 10 stars is because I thought it was slightly slow moving. This wouldn't have been a problem had there been more episodes, and I get that you can't really explore Ayanokouji without the slow reveal of his genius, but the fact that . In summary, the only problem is, is that there isn't enough of it!
The only regret you'll have after watching this, is that there isn't anymore you can watch!

Classroom of the Elite is yet another anime where the MC seems to be smarter than most of our world leaders and the student council has more power than a government. As per usual with these kinds of anime they are very over the top but undoubtedly heavily enjoyable despite the ropy and absurd plot.
I really enjoy the show, as I often do with anime I think the fanservice is a tad too much, moreso in Season 1, but it improved in this aspect in the second season.
The show is certainly enjoyable for people who like manipulative characters, a bit like Johan Liebert from Monster or Kategiri Yuuichi from Tomodachi Game, and despite most other characters being rather stagnant and bland or unlikeable and way too evil for a highschooler, this achieves the effect it aims for by making Ayanokoji way more likeable. I enjoy the worldbuilding of the academy and the idea of a "points system" which it introduces makes it a very nice blend between a Drama and Highschool anime. I also like how you may sometimes take a step back from conventional school concepts and see the characters engage in a more real-world activity.
Overall, the show is really fun to watch, I've also heard good things about the Light Novels so they'd probably have my recommendation as well. Overall around 7.8/10 but we'll up it to an 8 for IMDB!

This is one of those anime you expect somethings gonna happen and nothing does. It looks like its gonna be special than you realize half way this is just another high school harem anime with an OP Main character, Tsundere, shy hot girl and ..FAN SERVICE. The first episode present the premise and creates tension but before they do anything to address the problem the show is over. SKIP IT
So far there is only one season and they leave it at tyr last few minutes with a slight plot twist review trying to build a cliffhanger opening for a second season. In reality, it took 12 episodes to buildup to a nothing reveal. All the flashbbacks on his childhood reveal little to nothing. I was left hollow and disappointed since I binge-watched it in one sitting. Plus it was entirely too slow and the 12 episodes could have been squeezed into 6 leaving the other six to actually build a real plot and finish the series on a high note.
But my biggest pet peeve was that all the characters were supposed tonbevfirst years and some of the men looked the appropriate age yet a few looked loke they were in there lates 20s and the bald creepy vein bulging one in class A looked in his 30's. They even had a black bodyguard who clearly isn't Japanese by heavy for his class C (25 yr old "master") who looked right out of a nightclub bouncer vibe and was drawn by 30 too. Be consistent with the ages if they are supposed to be in high school and about 15. As it is every anime drawing of a 15 year looks like she has the bosom of a college girl but a face and height of a little girl. That just makes it easier for anime creaters to add the sexual and usually creepy undertones to the show.

So classroom of the elite (2017) is a really interesting anime the first season was released in 2017 as a promotion to the light novel and damn it was successful that time. Recently I found some time to watch it myself. Tbh it is a good anime with really well designs and an interesting story which is its bright side. Opening and ending were not something gripping so after two or three episodes I skipped them. Voice actors were quite good and well cast, I couldn't find a single character with the wrong voice choice or any other problems on that matter. The story includes good characters with no backstory at all so so times will come that it may surprise you. But on the downside, if you are into animes especially high school animes with a psychological theme you can guess what is going to happen so no it doesn't have a 100% unique story but it has its originality too.
Overall, classroom of the elite may not have a unique story but due to its character development and some twists, it is worth the time. However, beware that 5 years have passed and still there is no solid news about the second season.
Youkoso jitsuryoku shijou shugi no kyoushitsu e (JAP)/ Classroom of the elite 📺⭐ 8/10.

A great main protagonist can sometimes maje the show better and this is a good example, this show works because the MC the rest of the cast it's boring and i can say this because i watched the 3 seasons, the problem with the show its thats nothing interesting happens, its kinda meh to be honest, but that's fine I guess, the storyline in season 3 its kinda forgettable and not very good definitely the worst season of the bunch, i hope season 4 its better because im kinda wanting to drop this if the show don't improve ok, lets hope that's the case because season 3 bored me a lot and i don't appreciate that.

This show focuses on struggles between characters, in different school classes, aspiring to enter the highest class in Japanese society, some classes scheming against each other. I don't want to spoil anything more about that show, but I will say it does focus on struggle between socioeconomic classes, in an allegory of sorts. As such, this gets a rating of 10.

I wanted to give *10 but it was reduced
(-) Anime forces Horikita Suzune to become the main lead actress. Whereas in the Light novel Ayanokouji is quite popular and has many beautiful girls close to him. ! MOREOVER THE SCENE OF SWIMMING TOGETHER BELONGS TO KEI KARUIZAWA!
(-) The fight scenes are bad, unrealistic, even the movements are stiff (there is the fight between Ayanokouji vs. The student council president).
But the coloring is really good, and I like the quotes in the prologue.
All fans are waiting for season 2. At first, many thought that this anime would stop. Rh turns out there is a season 2. But I haven't had the chance to watch it because I've read the Light novel and am waiting for other spoilers. Because I'm afraid of getting a bad ending.

Opinion:
Classroom of the Elite is a thought-provoking and entertaining anime that offers a unique blend of strategy, drama, and psychological intrigue. If you enjoy shows that explore the complexities of human nature and the lengths people will go to achieve their goals, this series is definitely worth checking out.
Potential criticism: Main problem is that it lacks objective and purpose of main character. I literally completed 2 whole seasons I still couldn't figure out what's his aim to join that classroom of elite. I still can't understand why he doesn't have feelings and emotions. Story progress very slow because already 2 seasons I watched and they didn't even made from D to C which I expected to be happened of season 1💀 what's taking them ages for something like that to happen.

Overall solid points on:
-Art & Style (consistent, quality, etc.).
-Slow but Steady character growth (though more would have been good).
-Some unusual "hurtles" the "class" had to deal with.
But looses points due to: -Predicable plot. -Generic/Trope character design. -Generic/Trope plot elements. -Mild but distracting fan service. -Flirted with some darker concepts but failed to deliver.
Enjoyed watching it, like the overall concept and I'd watch a second season if it happens. Would not mind if it got a little darker.

Have seen few big anime series like Naruto,Tokyo ghoul, death note but not too many but this really was amazing to watch.
Some things cans be corny at the start and obvious to point out but I think it's there to hide out what the main character actually properly thinks abt it.
Animation is great, characters are cool and it's not a predictable series. I can watch it and not know what's going to happen next.
Overall no way it should be a low 7.7 rating and I think it needs to be higher. I would give it a rating between 8.5-9 but idk how u judge anime. I only saw a handful but I thought this one was really good among the others that were great as well.
I really wanna see why this one is a bit lower.
